Solid and good looking
We had a local welder fabricate a sliding front door for our home and bought this lock +box, it worked well and our welder was impressed with the "heavy duty" quality and the smooth action- looks professional too.

Hard to install
Is not Good that you have to use one key only to lock outside and key only to lock on the inside. It should be one key for both sides of the door. Also the lock installation doesn’t reach the inside the door fully so the lock will drop. You have to hold the lock up to screwscrew it in so it doesn’t fall

Shake to unlock. No key required
At first glance it looks and operates as expected. Once installed (welded in) and actually put into use however it does not work as intended. All that is needed to unlock the mechanism is to shake the door and the hook bolt with drop and unlock door without the need for a key leaving it unsecure.

Gate lock..
Looks good , welded in just fine.. But some time it unlock it self, if you shake the door and it is fully locked .. I can't explain why..
