Has any one used these for astronomy?

The 10x50 Nature DX ED binoculars work very well for astronomy. The 5mm exit pupil gives bright images, and the ED glass minimizes false color in stars and the moon when viewing. Under dark skies, dozens of galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae become visible.

The description here says 2-year warranty, but the Celestron website says it's a limited lifetime warranty. Is this one an exception?

the focus of the binoculars, which is the most important part. is only covered by the warranty for thirty days. Just spoke with celestron, mine can no longer focus, everything double after 40 days. told not covered as it is over 30 days. My binoculars are useless after 40 days. will try another company

What is the difference between dx vs dx ed

ED is a glass that disperses color better than untreated glass. It used to only be on expensive binos but now it is standard on all but the cheapest binos. The color in the Celestron Nature ED glasses is superb. You'd have to put them on an optical bench to see the difference from $2500 binos.

17.17 x 6.30 x 3.15 inches is the meadsurement you have on your specs. Celestron specs are 5.59 x 5.04 x 2.2". Which one is right?

Mine are 5.6" x 5.2" x 2.2" as accurately as I can measure with a ruler.
