Eats rust. Have used it in many wide ranging situations, from airplane cylinders to baggage compartment door, to rusted break disc's on a car three months in storage. A little heat from a heat gun accelerates its action.

A good product, but you should test it on a like surface prior to actually using it on its intended surface.Either the lubricant or its flourocarbon propellant may not be compatible with the surfaces.
