AVARCAS 101 Avarcas Women's Flat Leather Summer Sandals

I ordered a few pairs of these from different brands to see if there were a standout among them. At first, I thought it was going to be this pair. They were the most immediately comfortable and didn't feel like they would need any breaking in at all. HOWEVER, after walking around the room a bit, it seemed like this pair was weirdly noisy. I couldn't pin it down, but upon closer inspection, it seems to be the back strap. It makes a loud creaking/crinkling sound, as if it were stuffed with tissue paper or like the leather was sticking to itself on the inside of the strap... Whatever it was, it was loud and distracting enough that these were a no-go for me. The other pairs didn't have this issue at all, so I ended up keeping one of those instead.I'm a consistent size 8, and the EU 38 (listed as US 7-7.5) was a perfect fit for me.

I haven’t taken these off because they are soooooo comfortable. I’ll be buying lots in different colors.

I love the sandal and everything I read before ordering said they would fit tight, then the leather would soften and give. Just the opposite happened to me - I am a true size 5 and I ordered the size 5. They were at least a whole size too large & I haven’t worn them to make them give or stretch. I love the style - very cute sandal. I returned the sandal and immediately was sent a smaller size. This is a great seller to work with!

I really like these sandals. My foot is narrow and the fit is a little wide but the length is good, I would not want them smaller. The heel strap does hurt a little but no blisters. I’ve worn them out only once and received compliments. I’m sure I will be back for more in different colors, The quality and workmanship is great!

I love these sandals. The leather is as soft as a glove. They mold to your feet. Did I mention how comfortable they are? The tread on the sole prevents slipping on wet or slippery surfaces. This is my second pair and I am always looking for new colors.

I was eyeing this style of sandal for a very long time, finally made a leap of faith. I am size 9 in US shoe sizing and ordered accordingly. When I received them, out of the box they were a bit snug, so I wore them around house with a thick sock just to make them give a little. It did the trick, I could have gone a size up, but I am confident that the strap in that case would be too loose. I've been wearing them a lot, since I love them and they make my feet look small and adorable. I still have occasional issues with things rub here and there, so I am envious of people who could wear them right out of thee box comfortably. It's a gamble, but I do love mine.

I was just in Barcelona and saw these sandals. The color I ordered was the same color I was trying but didn’t have my size. I was thrilled when I looked them up on Amazon and there they were , in my size & color! Love them!!

First, I love the style of these sandals and I get compliments on them all the time. However, the leather has stretched so much that they have become a bit difficult to keep on my feet. Unfortunately, this problem would not be fixed by going down a size because the length of the shoe is perfect. I do consider the width of my foot to be perfectly average, not narrow or wide, so I'm not sure they are a good option for an average width foot. I didn't give one or two stars because I really love the look and the quality. I just wish they weren't so loose. I don't imagine I'll be able to wear them much longer if they keep stretching.
