This device, though made of a thin plastic, has a shiny metallic mirror finish and once attached to the wall, looks like metal. The suction has worked well for many days and is designed to last. The holder is adjustable in all directions, including a 360 rotation. My hand held shower head is larger than most, and metal, so it is heavier than most similar heads. It also holds some water - which adds to the weight. Twice the head has rotated uncontrollably and sprayed water everywhere - ceiling, etc. While most of the time it works well, every time I put the hand held back into the device, I worry about it tipping over sideways (rotation.) I would think this is a fantastic product for lighter shower heads and a great value for the low price. But I may need to replace it. Very easy to install.UpdateLasted about 2 years. Now the suction to the wall is weaker - fails about every 3-6 months. The rotation friction is too low, so the device is positioned so the shower head leans on a side wall.

The item I ordered could not hold the hand-held shower spray in place and kept falling off the bathroom wall, so I had to return it.

Its very supported. The orevious suction cup i bought from another company didnt stay on shower wall and within a month it feel off wall several times, only the last time it broke. So i ordered this one in picture, a better quality, i am 100%satisfied. Im in a wheel chair, so had to have shower head and hose lay in tub with me. Now I don't have to take bath with it laying in tub

This is the second one I've purchased for my second bath. Someone very tall lived here before, and I've really had to reach to use my shower head. I used the first one in my master bath after I had surgery, as I couldn't stand for a few weeks. It was great, as I could adjust it so it was low for me while I used a shower stool. Now that I'm back on m feet, I've moved it up, but not as high as the fixture that come out of the wall. It swivels, so I can point it at a better angle, so as not to spray toward the shower door, which is sometimes hard to close. Has been very secure.

I liked that I could put shower head in right position for my height. I am only 5'2" and the home I am renting has the shower head holder up too high for me. This product was very easy for me to install and it works like a charm. I bought it 2 months ago and still love love love it! I bought the Randconcept 80 mm VHB adhesive disc for reinforcement. I am very happy with my decision to purchase this product.

It would not stick ; it was to hold rain spa hand held .

I wanted to like this. The price is right, and it seems it should work great. Right?I want to start by saying I have a flat tiled shower. I cleaned it, stuck the thing on as described (even did a thoroughly cleaning as suggested by a reviewer). It stays on until I get through about half my shower. Then it fell hitting my big toe and that was 3 days ago. It still hurts. I did try to stick it again real fast with no luck. Repeated the process, and it did the same thing the following day.I also find it misleading to look like it should move forward to backward. It doesn't. It does move side to side, but that's fairly useless.I read to use the adhesive. Well, I didn't get an adhesive. Really looked in the box, too. Nope nothing.Too bad it didn't work. Too much work and effort to send back at a $6 it isn't worth it. I wasted money on a product that doesn't work as intended. Good luck to other buyers.

There were no instructions inside the box. This is mostly plastic. So far it is holding up well.
