Wonderful Background Video to Leave on, with Real Syncronized Wave Sounds
At first, it starts out looking like someone's home-made video, shooting some friends on the beach, but gets way better later. Even the first scenes are good, but they might make you think wrongly about what is to come later. When it gets to sunsets over the water, it looks absolutely gorgeous! I also really like the perfectly-synchronized wave sounds, in which you can see exactly where the water is making the sound details.Just one small negative is that Florida waves tend to be small compared to California, where I live, so a California Beaches would probably be even better. I also just watched the Hawaii Beaches video, and it's great too, maybe a little better than Florida, due to some more-active surf, but the maker could have waited or found some far more dramatic surf in Hawaii; even in Florida there are times when the surf is up, but mainly in bad weather, and I think it would be interesting to add some of those scenes too; maybe a "Surf's Up" video as a future suggestion.This is what I wanted; a video to leave on while I go about my business all day.

Superb Product, Even Better Customer Service
My wife loves the beach but lives in the desert, so for Christmas I wanted to give her the gift of hi-def, surround sound beachfront experience. We popped it in our PS3 Christmas morning and, as expected, the locations and photography were superb. My wife issued many an ooh and ahh, but as the guy that bought and installed the entertainment system, I noticed a problem. The back speakers weren't working. I double checked that BluRay disk provided a surround track (which it did) but I couldn't get it to work. Since I had some free time later that day, I emailed "customer service" which is basically the email of the videographer that shot the project. One day later (did I mention it was Christmas?) he personally emails me back and helps me fix the issue. He even followed up! This is exactly the type of business I like to support. You can feel confident in the craftsmanship, artistry and support of this product.

I have multiple beach videos, but this one is my favorite. Maybe because it reminds me of Lake Michigan on the eastern shore.

Very Healing & Gorgeous
Beautiful Cinematography. Great quality & sound. I ordered this because I love Florida so much. But then before the order was delivered, my husband and I got sick. This helped us feel better. It was very healing. Kudos on this DVD!!! I would suggest everyone order this especially during stressful times.

Wonderful Gulf Coast beaches
This is the 2nd video I have gotten from this director (also have the "Hawaii Beaches 1" HD/Blu-ray) and both are fantastic! The HD is perfect, the sound is so life-like it is almost scary - the only thing missing is the smell of the beach & water (scented candles help there). Love that it tells you which area of the coast you are watching, and that each area gets to be seen from morning to sunset. I find the videos (both of them) to be essentially soothing when I need to relax, and uplifting when I need energy. Both are wonderful reminders of the incredible beauty of the earth...

Disappointing
Update: will not play.. our other disc's play just fine, so it's not our player.. returning this travesty.I have lived in Florida for over 40 years. Been to hundreds of beaches on the Gulf side and the Atlantic. I have many photos of beaches and sunsets and sunrises.What gets me is that high saturation has been used on many of the beach scenes. It's not needed.. Florida's beaches are beautiful the sunsets take your breathe away. Who wants to see waves the color of lime jello? Of ridiculous sunsets because the color is waaaaay off.Another reason I only have 1 star is that it stops for a few seconds quite often.. like it has glitches,many many of them.I have cleaned the disc to no avail. And I know it's not our blu-ray player as our others discs play just fine.I will probably return this and try the Vigin Islands or Hawaiithe scenes in this video
