Is this suitable for 7 year old beginner?

This really is more suitable for an adult. Although, it is very light weight and easy to hold. Depends on how big you seven year old is! It is an excellent item, and might be worth buying for use when you child is a little older. Hope this helps.

Yeh, it's actually meant for adults as it's a 4/4. I started from absolute beginner 6 months ago and it's been a great experience.

Learning to play the violin is not really something for downloadable instructions. You need a good teacher. The very least you can do is find a youtube channel for violin learners, there are some out there. Nobody would expect instructions with a serious violin.

are strings included?

Yes, it comes with string however I did snap the E string (mainly my fault) so buying a spare pack of strings won’t do you any harm.
