The Paleo nutrition program has been a great surprise. I'm micro-fasting with no issues at all. This from the life-long champion of daily breakfast. I worked out at the park weekend before last in the sun - awesome.

Fitness solution - It's all right here!!!
First off the content of this book far exceeds the "Dummies" moniker as previously mentioned by Dan John. I have been into functional movement and kettlebell training for 3 years now. Pat's approach is the most straight forward of any that I have read. He spells out the process for someone to quickly start on the path from flab to fabulous. So many books only focus on one aspect of fitness - whether it be the diet or exercise technique alone. He breaks it down simply that you can have a great program - or an excellent tool like the kettlebell but until you link it with a proper nutrition strategy you, at best will only get mediocre results. However, when you hit both you get exactly what you are looking for. So now, instead of buying the latest fad diet book, and a hot of the press kettlebell book that leaves all the exercises as mysterious as possible. You can get all in one easy to understand and implement source. But more importantly if you want the best training available, you need to see Pat in person -- like I just did at Killing it with Kettlebells. An intense 3 day work shop for people who what to teach these techniques to others. Do I need to say more buy the book. Dr. E

GREAT BASIC GUIDE
AS A NEWBEE TO THE PALEO LIFESTYLE, I WAS REACHING OUT FOR INFORMATION THAT WOULD PROVIDE ME THE BASIC JEST. I FOUND THAT HERE IN PALEO WORKOUTS FOR DUMMIES WHICH SET THE FOUNDATION FOR MORE IN DEPTH RESEARCH.

Pleasantly surprised!
This was my first For Dummies book and I am thrilled that this is the one I picked. For one, I am a HUGE fan of Pat Flynn which was why I decided to give this book a go. Two, I am turning 45 in 3 days and I was looking for something to help me with my strength. Don't get me wrong, I am no stranger to weightlifting or kettlebells. In fact I am a retired professional bodybuilder. All the years of doing this sport though has left me with numerous injuries. Amazingly, kettlebells don't seem to aggravate them as much. So I am giving up the gym and turning soley to the kettlebell and bodyweight exercises in this book to help me regain strength and mobility as I go into tjis new chapter of my life. Starting with the 90 day program in their book. I will also be following the Paleo diet along with it. Instead of being depressed at getting older and retiring from the sport that I love, I have found a new enthusiasm in this book.

The foundation of any fitness program
An easy to follow template for fitness enthusiasts, coaches, and athletes. I have been reading Pat's work since he first began the Chronicles of Strength and I have never come across one product of his that did not deliver. As an athletic performance coach myself, I have used the tools Pat has taught me as the foundation for proper movement in my athletes, especially the younger ones. Paleo Workouts for Dummies is no different and although I have been following Pat for years, he continues to surprise me with every new product. I use Pat's techniques as a starting point for my youth athletes, a regression for my retired athletes, and the fitness bible for my general population. I cannot wait until Pat's name becomes synonymous with other fitness experts in the industry. "The only thing that separates the elite from all the rest is the fact that the elite are better at the basics than everyone else."

One of the top fitness books of all time
I bought this book because I trust Pat Flynn. I wasnโt sure what to expect because of the book's cheesy title, but this book quickly became a favorite. There is so much good information in this book that I already read it twice and will be following both the programs in the book when the weather gets a bit better outside. The authors cut through all the hype and BS that surrounds the fitness industry and tells you how to get in the best shape of your life using the old fashioned, tried and true exercises. No fancy gym equipment needed, not even a gym membership is needed. The book provides progressions for beginners to advanced lifters. There are bodyweight movements that will challenge the sturdiest of us, and they recommend barbells, dumbbells and especially ketlebells blasting fat. The information in this book will leave you will be satisfied.

Buy this book, now.
This book is easy to follow and is an easy read. The exercises in the book are easy to learn and simple to follow. I have been a student of Pat Flynn's for over a year and I've learned more from Pat on proper eating and fitness than from anyone in the past and I've been exercising since I was 14 years old. Pat's routines are easy to follow but will tax you when needed. They will change you for the positive. I've lost weight and gained muscle faster while working with Pat than I did doing anything else in the past. I've ran, done crossfit, weight trained, olympic lifting, etc. Kettlebells and bodyweight routines are without a doubt on target and get the job done. Add in the paleo lifestyle and you can't go wrong. I am not kidding when I tell you that you will not be sorry if you buy this book. Read it, live it. You have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

The above is a quote attributed to Albert Einstein, but I think this sums up this book perfectly. This is pure gold, a guide how to get the best results from your training. Being a speed reader I read it in one sitting, but I will be referring back to it time and time again, it's full of useful information. Don't be fooled by the brevity of the workouts - sorry - training sessions, or the simplicity of the program's. I have been following Pat Flynn`s fitness minimalist approach for a while now, mainly through his blog. The Kettlebell complexes are a superb way to train,very efficient and combine well with my Krav Maga training sessions, I am looking forward to using the strength training protocol in this book to give me an edge in my Krav Maga class. At 51 I need all the help I can get! I can't recommend this book highly enough. Stop wasting time and effort, buy it, apply the principles in it and get the results. Simple as that really

simple, effective, easy to read and fun
Pat Flynn does a great job of brining all the best bits of strength and conditioning, kettlebells, movement and nutrition together in this easy to read book. But don't be fooled, these workouts are demonic!!!
