I haven't had an issue with them yet. The range is more than far enough and there seems to be no lag. They also don't seem to need to be charged often, but that definitely would depend on how much you use them. I did not have to look up or use any instructions, they are very easy to use, just a power switch on each. The only thing to note is that they are not both the same. Although they look identical and you might be tempted to think they are interchangeable, one is a transmitter and one a receiver. The words "transmitter" and "receiver" are printed on them in a super tiny font. Make sure the receiver is on the amp and transmitter on the guitar.

I just got this set up less than a week ago and I've used them 3 times: at a band practice, at a live performance and at home. I play a bass through a Donner in-line tuner into an amp. I'm a big fan of these things, having never tried them before. I have no other set to compare to, so read with that in mind. Battery Life: The battery life was not a problem for any of the 3 uses, but none of those events required more than 3 hours of use. After each use, I had them back home and on a charger within a couple of hours. So far, battery life has not been an issue. I only gave 4 stars because I did not run them down to nothing, so I can't say if they last 5 hours (as advertised) or not. If this changes, I'll update my review. Sound Quality: I read a review the indicated the user was having some issues with getting levels to behave with their effects. I do not run effects other than a tuner in-line, but that tuner did not have any difficulty capturing my sound, and the sound level entering the amp seemed unaffected. There is, as expected, 0 delay and no noticeable change to my tone. Range: I did not need to really push the limits of the range, but out of curiosity I wandered across the room during practice (prolly 20 feet between transmitter and receiver) and suffered no ill-effects. Use / Directions: These are very easy to use and come ready-for-use out the box. I literally plugged in and started playing. Switching between the 4 pre-set frequencies is also easy to do, and the series of flashes are an obvious indicator for which sub-freq you're on. The power on/off switches are easy to find by touch, and I found that simply turning one off was enough for my amp to go silent. I did not need to use my tuner as a silence switch if I didn't want to. Overall, for $50 these are well worth trying. If I could change any aspect of the delivered product it would be a minor change to the packing material. To protect them from being shaken during transport, I am using the shipping packaging: it's shaped foam designed to cradle them. I would suggest a change to that packaging material so the charger can be plugged in while in-place (see photo where I cut a small section out so it would fit). This way, I can plug in the charger cable, set them in the box and plug the other end into a charge-pack during transport. Then, they are charged by the time I get to the next use.

after 20 years my old wireless system finally gave up on me. I purchased these for practicing guitar around the house and they have been great! no interference with any of the electronics in my house. I haven't used these in a gig, so can't speak to how well they play with others, but for the price these can't be beat! they charge quickly and hold a charge for a long time. I like that they are small and stay out of the way. great product!

First off, this is a great product. I literally took it out of the box, plugged the receiver into my pedal board and the transmitter into my guitar and was instantly connected. The first thing I did was check the range. I played all the way out of the basement, up into the kitchen, through the living room and out the front door, and I could easily hear the Marshall howling away down there from my driveway. I could hear some latency from out there, but how many times will I be practicing in my driveway? Depends on the level of intoxication, I guess…only time will tell. Still, the signal was very impressive. Next was an actual latency test. Going back inside, I could still hear some latency from the living room of my 100 year old, 1 bedroom, 890 square foot house with my amp in the basement right beneath me. Not bad considering the layers of lead between my guitar and the receiver. Walking back through the kitchen clearly removed at least 30% of the lead layers, as the latency disappeared as soon as I got to the top of the basement stairs. Again, very impressive. Then I started fuxing with different pickup positions, volume and tone pots, and swapping guitars, all while leaving my pedalboard on “neutral”,which for me is dirty side gain on 11 with just an EP signal boost to drive the front end a little harder, and I did notice a tone difference. With the LP standard, it made the tone slightly thinner and crunchier on either the bridge pickup or both engaged, but turned into a really cool fuzz tone on just the neck pickup. The ‘72 strat sounded darker and less shiny, but also thinner. Rolling off the volume on either brought them down to a bit warmer tone, but still just a splash thin. Will I buy more of these little fellers if they poop out on me? Yes. In fact, I’m thinking about getting 3 more sets and hooking a set up to the main out on my pedalboard and the front of my amp, and 2 sets on the section of my pedalboard that goes through the effects loop because if I’m gonna play slightly buzzed in my driveway, I’m gonna want tap delay. I think we can all agree on that. Would I play live like that? Maybe, depends on the show/venue. Would I record like that? No. Is it fun to be totally portable for this price? Sure is! Easy setup to pair transmitter to receiver (Instructions said it should just work but had info to solve if not) and it works great! No loss in audio levels or tone like another model I tried and no perceivable lag. Im just a home player but was able to walk across the house and not drop sound. I love the power switch being on the side of the unit so no turning over to locate to turn on and off and the pivot on each unit is nice and firm so it holds its folded position and wont flop around. Time will tell on battery life but I like the charging process of the light turning off when fully charged. Well thought out units.

I'm incredibly impressed with the sound quality, ease of use (connection), and functionality for the price. I don't often use wireless, so for the few hours a year that I do (6-8 hours I'd guess) I'm happy with the purchase and quality of the product. I haven't owned it long enough yet to comment on the battery life or overall longevity. I also don't have a higher quality wireless system to a/b this with. Were I planning to use this more or in paid performance situations, I'd do deeper research.

I purchased these hoping for a speedy setup before practice or gigging. Worked great for a month or so. Now it appears to holds a charge but fails to connect. Frustrating and very dissapointing. I will not buy again.

UPDATE on August 25/2024: Well, this pair lasted for just over a year of gigging. This time the receiver took a dump- suddenly stopped taking a charge. I'm pretty convinced it's the cheap-ass micro USB jacks on the units that go bad. I love the convenience, but at $55-$60 a year? I could buy a good cable for that amount and have it last me 15 years. Anyway, I love the convenience of wireless, so I just bought a joyo 5.8 ghz set here to see how they do. They plug into a charging base which can hold a charge itself, is portable and uses usb c jack for recharging. I'm hoping to see how long this will last...I hope it sounds as good as the Lekatos. UPDATE on July 4/2023: Really loved these; they did their last gig with me on Sunday (July 2). The transmitter will no longer accept a charge. Dead LED and doesn't charge. That was about 2.25 yrs of heavy use - gigging, practice. I used a back-up pair of SWIFF W-50 today, but I don't like the tone of them as much--they're thinner sounding, not as "phat." SO, I ordered another pair in the grain color today - hopefully get them in time for my next gig in 2 days! In all honesty, I've dropped them a few times in the past couple of months-sometimes on cement from a standing position. But I've also seen people blame the jack for failing, so I don't know why it no longer takes a charge, really. The battery may just have given out. BIG PROS: -TONE - CLARITY, FULLNESS -RELIABILITY/PERFORMANCE - FLAWLESS, CONSISTENT, LAST FULL 5+HRS/CHARGE, RIGHT UP UNTIL NOW Original review: These have been very reliable over the past 1.5 years that I've used them: last 5+ hours, have not cut out in performance and sound superb. I compared the sound quality of these and a good Mogami cable and these were just as strong and clear --maybe even a little bit fatter. My signal chain = Acoustic guitar w/K&K pickup -->Lekato system --> Radial AC-1 --> Headrush MX-5--> Looper--> PA. It has been great to have a reliable system and no cable to mess with. Excellent product!

Amazing for the price, works out if the box. Would rate ut 4 and a half as I really dislike old style usb. Usb C would be a definite 5 star

Having drop issues with wireless guitar systems with active high output pickups. Tried a Lekato WS-80 same issues, along with two other brands. Came across a review stating the Lekato WS-50 could handle the active high ouput guitar pickups. And it worked wonderfully. As an F.Y.I., just make sure no bluetooth system is ON in the close vincinity of your wireless system. Very satisfied with the purchase, reasonable price too.

Just go for it. It connects quickly. No latency. No loss of quality. I used it for my bass guitar and I can roam freely upto 20m or more without loss of signal. Also battery lasts long. Can play two shows with one full charge. Awesome wireless system
