As the author indicates, is a VERY brief introduction, fulfills that purpose. Is very good for updating oneself on the concepts and study of Geopolitics. Furthermore, it is entertaining to read and up to date with actual present examples. Thanks to all!

Good little book in perfect condition. Just what I wanted

This book might be all but an introduction to geopolitics. It frustrates anyone who expects to learn or recall the fundamentals of the matter. Yet, it brings interesting approaches to modern and current issues with profound impact on nowadays geopolitics, as telecommunications and social media, migration, pollution, and others.

If you want to understand Geopolitics, don't waste time reading this book. Invest some money and time and read the classics - Sir Halford Mackinder, Karl Haushofer and to grasp the Russia's idea of it - Alexander Dugin. To see how it can be applied in a state's politics, read Ahmed Davutoglu. There are no shortcuts....

The title of this book, "Geopolitics: A Very Short Introduction" should probably have been called "Geopolitics: A Frankfurt School Perspective". For an actual primer about geopolitics, look elsewhere.
