Makes perfect crema!
I have had a manual espresso machine from Saeco for years and had used it on and off, as it was a bit frustrating. Not bad but I constantly struggled with making the perfect espresso with crema. It never happened for me. Not saying I wasn’t doing things wrong but it truly is an art that as an artist I have to use my talent elsewhere. Sooo, I got fed up and bought the Dinamica by DeLonghi . I did some research and decided this was the one and took a leap of faith. An amazing machine! Does everything I need it to do, including the perfect espresso with the crema! Are there fancier machines? Yes. But this one has great value for the money, works perfectly, and offers variety and selection of different types of coffees. Cleaning up is easy, water filling is easy, operation is easy. The machine basically tells you what to do and does it at the press of a button. Noise is not bad and my cats have gotten used to it. It actually looks elegant too which was also important to me. It fresh grinds every cup and adds the perfect amount that you can set up. I am actually thrilled with this machine! I’ve had it for about a month and so far so good. It’s like having a bit of Italy in your own kitchen!

Best Value & Choice if like Steam Wands for Best Froth and HOT Coffee
We've had (and/or used) a number of automated espresso machines for decades, including Terra Kaffe (TK-01), Saeco, Phillips and Breville. For several reasons, we like the De'Longhi Dinamica best of all after using it for over 3 months now. I like my coffee hot to stay warm in an insulated mug. Most machines can't the coffee hot enough from the get go and I have to follow-up with a microwave, which is a pain, especially if I want to use a metal (e.g., Yeti) mug, requiring switching-to/cleaning another container -- aaargh! While the Dinamica doesn't automate frothing milk like some machines, manually using its steam wand not only gets the very best froth, but makes the coffee perfectly hot! There's the trade-off. And this chrome wand is the bomb! The chrome acquires a patina in a range of bluish-gold hues like a chrome Harley Davidson motor cycle. I've always wanted a Harley! Also, everyone in our house uses different milk/creamers -- so one receptacle for milk that the fully automatic ones have doesn't work for us. The Dinamica also has a large bin for pucks and, most importantly, doesn't abort in the middle of a cup (requiring starting over) when the water is low. That was a real pain with the Terra Kaffe and Saeco. The water receptacle is easily accessible -- sliding out in the front, as does the dredge drawer. So there is no need to move the machine around for routine filling and cleaning. There are also no annoying extra parts in the dredge drawer to have to put back in place, like the Phillips. The white (very light cream color) of this model looks beautiful with our whitish kitchen. No other model we've seen would look as good. It also looks like a quality build. Taste is great once you make the right adjustments to suite your taste as you'd have to do with any automated machine. Other than needing to refer to the manual for settings changes, the only negative would be that the grinder seems just a bit louder than most. But the relatively large bean hopper makes up for that in my mind.

Broke within a year and De'Longhi "unable to verify the warranty status of your product"
Machine broken. Sent painfully detailed descriptions and videos to support and all they do is send back a page from the manual. If that page was sufficient I would never have needed to reach out. I am fairly sure the grinder is broken. After 6 weeks (!!) of back and forth I still just got back what the manual says and they told me they can't verify the warranty status. They suggested I take it in (at my expense) to a service center. The closest is 300 miles from where I live. Great coffee while it worked but the company is not willing to stand behind their product. Update: evidently the warranty is not valid because I did not buy from an approved retailer (bought via this page from a third party seller -- don't do that). Their expectation is for the customer to research the terms of the warranty on their website and from there to understand that the warranty is not valid from some retailers. My view is that it is unreasonable. They built the machine and should honor the warranty within the warranty window. After talking on the phone I got the option to buy service online for $260. If all goes well, I will pay $260 to fix the machine that broke after 11 months of use. It was new when I received it.

1 Year Update: This machine is still churning out 2-4 coffee's every day without fault and has been an outstanding purchase. I stand by my original review and rating. Original Review: I spent ages looking at various manufacturers coffee machines. I wanted an automatic bean to cup machine, which also steamed the milk. I'd had a manual Delonghi previously and it had lasted years of daily use. This machine is everything I wanted. I've used this machine every for 3 months now, sometime twice a day. The coffee just seems to get better and it definitely takes a week to bed in and get the settings how you want them such as the grind setting. More expensive models don't seem to offer much more for the money and despite the information on Deloghi's website, this machine does produce just as many coffee options. The only exception being a flat white, but you could do this manually if you wanted. Pros - Looks great - Easy to set-up - Quick to start-up - Easy to use - most drinks are one-touch, 2 drinks are easy to make, mymenu allows your personal favourite to be one touch away. - Quick to produce the drink of your choice - Easy access to the water tank and bean hopper - Produces excellent espresso - The milk frother is easy to use/clean and produces rich dense foam at its max setting - Drinks are perfectly hot on the default setting, but if you want hotter then there is a temp. control setting to increase this - Reliable operation (I've yet to have a problem after 300+ lattes) - Programming is easy to set the quantity of each ingredient - Easy to maintain (everything is automated, including the warnings for a full drip tray etc.) - Makes just as many drink options as the higher-end models, despite not being advertised - Comes with a water filter and decalk bottle, which will get you started for the first few months Cons - Sometimes says the grounds hopper needs emptying when it's only half full. Doesn't happen often and it's easy to empty - Quite a long machine, not really an issue, but might be for a short kitchen surface and anything above it may restrict access to the bean hopper - The water tank could be a little bigger, it will produce 4-6 drinks between refills. Not a massive issue and it's easy to fill. Besides a larger tank would mean a larger machine.

This is a wonderful coffee machine. For those, who enjoy their coffee, this machine gives multiple options. From light to strong flavours and multiple coffee options like espresso, Cappuccino, Latte, Flat white etc. We have been using this for almost a fortnight now and loving it. Few points to note 1. Use Beans, option for powder is only for making one cup. We have been using beans as it has got options to select the grind 2. Use cold milk in the container for milk based coffee. If the temp of milk isn’t cold then milk delivery in the cup May not be good 3. Flat whites are awesome

La cafetera vino con fallas y al intentar comunicarme con soporte de De'Longhi me indican que ellos no la vendieron, que no me pueden apoyar, cuando Amazon me sugiere que los contacte a ellos para resolver el problema
