AWESOME idea, must-have for strength training and grip improvement.
Fantastic product, genius idea whoever came up with it, seems sturdy enough to last a lifetime, but if I only get 5-10 years out of it will absolutely come back and buy another set one day. I bought all 3 sizes and I use all 3 sizes in my workouts now, on various pieces of equipment / bars.

Powerlifter - Superior Product and Company
I've had this product for right at 6 Months now and I regret not putting a review up sooner. This product is the Fat Gripz Extremes at 2.75" Diameter, a few days ago I put in an order for the other 2 Sizes (1.75" Ones, and the 2.25" Original Fat Gripz) that they offer so that I can incorporate more weight in my workouts. For starters, upon purchasing a product from Fat Gripz you will receive an e-mail that runs you through the basics of how to use the product - BEFORE YOU RECEIVE IT. I highly recommend giving that a read through as when you receive your package, you will want to try it as soon as you get it out. I am a Competitive Powerlifter and a big advocate of Grip Strength and Training. I have used the Fat Gripz Extremes solely for strength and I have been impressed with them. The reason that i'm purchasing the smaller 2 sizes is so that when a competition nears I can scale down the grip size (Fat Gripz) until the competition where i'm obviously using the standard Olympic Bar - this allows the advantage of using progressively more weight while still maintaining the added benefit of muscle activation that Fat Gripz provides. Grip Strength is paramount to lifting heavy weights; if you can't hold it, you can't lift it - simple as that. This will increase your gains and in turn, your competitive advantage. For those who do MMA, Grappling, Wrestling, Rock Climbing, you could also benefit from this as your hold(s) will be greater and harder to break from. Durability is top notch, the material is a rubberized grip which gives you a great surface to grip onto (even when sweaty) as well giving the bar on the inside a strong mating surface, most of the time you'll have even more through knurling. These things aren't going to spin on you while you're doing a lift! One thing that I never really thought about until I purchased the smaller 2 sizes was the ability to use them on Ropes, Pull-up Bars, etc., since it's just a slit that you open up and place around the desired equipment. Needless to say, I more or less missed out on even more gains but no longer! Try 'em out, you'll thank Fat Gripz later!

Just A Solid Workout Addition
Solid product it definitely goes a long way I’ve been using the Fat Gripz pro for a while decided it’s time to step it up. Very simple product so it’s quick to slap onto pull up bars etc. so I get a lot outta em. You may wanna work your way up since these are pretty big but if you know you can handle the Extreme version right off the bat go for it. They’ll get you a good soreness if used how they should be used. I personally use them for deadlifts, curls, pull ups, and dips. I’m personally sitting on a grip strength of 368lbs these will help with that.

Feeling the burn in the muscles
The wider grip gives me a whole new sensation in working out. It’s targets the muscles function in less time then a normal grip. The different sizes train for different movements or different functionalities. If you really want to gain and target the muscle fast the black and blue grip will do you well. The orange is more of a challenge if you want to go there but technically the black or blue one will do the trick. It’s a bit on the expensive size but I get why. They work for my hands and feel great when I use them in my workout. I believe they aren’t for everyone to use all three but if you know yourself well the black or blue one is for you.

Works!
Works as described. But will not work on dumbbells that have a thin handle on the ends with a thick handle in the center. Basically like the dumbbells you find at Walmart.

Take resistance to a higher level when using lighter weight. Can fit on most db's and bar bells.
Grips may take a while to get use to edpecially if you have smaller hands. During a workout you can definately feel the additional tension with your forearms especially when using wigher weight. I have noticed a definate difference in gains with using db's. Smaller hands might want to consider the smaller blue grips when starting out. Very well made and substantial.

Seemingly simple but totally amazing product
Disclaimer: This will be a long review: I wanted to wait for a while before writing a review on this product in case the euphoria from reading all the reviews caused me to biased in its favour. There is no bias, these are the real deal. It's amazing how they work. I bought the blue ones (regular) first and noticed the difference immediately. I am ego free in the gym as I go there for sculpting my body and not to win the strongest man in the gym award. I used to have pains in my shoulder and so forth from a much earlier but when I used the grips, it was amazing that I felt no pain in my body. It seemed to redirect all the focus and tension towards the actual target muscle group. My DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) was next to none the following day and I didn't wake up whimpering. I worked out for about two months averaging about 3 workouts a week and I used them for every single workout. I loved how my muscles felt and I felt the strength carrying over to other activities. It's almost as if my joints were preserved and hence strengthened by the irradiation process they say using a wide grip brings on. After obsessing for days on end over upgrading to the extremes, I bit the bullet and purchased them. I felt less of a pump with them in my chest muscle groups but more overall strength in my grip. I also do pronated bodyweight pullups and with the extremes on, I cannot do anymore than 2. So I mix my use of them and use the regulars for pullups and the extremes for other exercises. It's a fantastic product and I told my brother about them. Knowing that I don't BS about stuff and doing his own background research, he immediately purchased the regulars and has experienced the same effect. 5 out of 5 for this one.

Super durable rubber that has significant heft. You can feel an immediate difference using these on any exercise that has some elbow flexors, forearm or hand engagement. All of which are noticeably sore after using the fat gripz. I’ll be sure to update my review in a few months time.

If you are not specifically training for armwrestling or any kind of forearms related grip sport (rock climbing, boldering, hand gripping strength, etc.) I do not recommend the large grips (2.75”). They will not give you “extra muscles” and you will lift significantly less weight with these, which for a weightlifter and bodybuilder is counterproductive. Instead go for the 1.75” or 2.25” diameter grips which are perfect for added difficulty without being over the top difficult. It does give you added strength on your fingers, hands and forearms (with a significant forearm pump). The 2.75” grip is the perfect size for armwrestling competitors. Fits most if not all types of barbell, dumbbell, chin up bars accessories. Litterally slightly bigger than the size of a can of coke when it’s installed on a bar (see picture). It doesn’t look like much but trust me a pair of 20lbs dumbbells feels like 40lbs. Perfect for forearms exercise like: cupping/wrist flexion, standing cable curls, Pronation forearm flex, half-rep pull ups, thumb-less reverse curls, half-rep rows, and many more. After my first workout with those I felt a different kind of soreness, more situated at the nerves than the muscle itself - Which is the same soreness as when doing armwrestling. In other words, dont buy the 2.75” unless you try the other lower diameter before or if you compete in armwresling/hand sports.
