Nice little sander for small spots

Far better than expected, I usually read the negative reviews before buying items, glad I ignored them, it does exactly what its made for, outperformed my much more expensive polisher, has a very low air consumption, its already paid for itself after 20 mins use.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this sander / polisher performs. It's well made and easy to use. Disappointingly the 1" pad was missing. I contacted the supplier and after some discussion they sent a pad but it had the wrong fitting so was no use. I've given up as I'm able to work around with the 2" and 3" pads supplied. However I'd still recommend this product for sanding and polishing smallish items (I use it on motorcycle parts mainly)

I was looking forward to using this buffing/sanding tool (I bought it for buffing) but none of the sanding disk pads supplied would screw into the body of the tool. The backing pads have a label that seems to indicate that two thread sizes are available, either M6*1 or 5/16"*24T, but neither of the two check boxes was ticked. I tried the thread in an M6 nut, and that fitted perfectly. So I can only assume that the sanding/polishing tool body itself has an imperial thread, which leaves the complete package useless. It has to go back. And as there is no way of checking that any other tool will be correctly matched with the supplied pads, then I won't be re-ordering it. In addition, there was no instruction manual supplied in the box. The only information was a sheet with a exploded diagram showing the component parts on one side, and a list of safety warnings on the other side. Now a basic air tool like this doesn't require a lot of instructions, but there are several labels telling you to 'oil daily' but nowhere does it tell you exactly where and what type of oil to use. The warning sheet tells you to oil 'in accordance with the instructions', but there are no instructions. A warning label on the tool stating 'Please breathe the lube into the tools usually' doesn't help matters.
