Solar Bright
The lights are bright and larger than the ones you buy from some stores.. They look very nice outside and make nice showing.. Nice weight not small.. They soak up the sun during the day and give of a nice bright light at night.

Could have been a contender...
Pro: Smart, contemporary design. Reasonable price. Arrived well packaged.Con: Removing top to get at switch and battery extremely difficult. Cheap low rated batteries included. Small solar cell doesn't provide much of a charge.I have owned cheaper, plastic garden solar lights that had a battery compartment making it a simple task to change or charge them. This unit hides the battery inside a cover with three screws and a nest of wires. Very poor design.July, 2015. Here is an update. These lights are the poorest examples of solar garden lights imaginable. They produce little illumination if any at all. Near impossible to maintain. I would reduce my vote to zero stars if that were possible.

Total Junk. Look for the more expensive version called Paradice.
Very disappointed with Amazon for even allowing this item on their site. I purchased another version of these before and they were great. After taking the low road and lower priced version I learned a couple of good lessons. You get what you pay for and always trust a review. But honestly Amazon should be held accountable for not keeping and eye in customers reviews of items and feedback. Sure I like Amazon and in most cases they are 100% but this time they failed me and the only compensation was free shipping on my next order. Not enough because I had to go out of my way to unis tall the units from my yard and pack them up so UPS could come and get the. Okay here's what I found out about the lights as compared to the more expensive units. First off the plastic portion of the light needs to be screwed of to turn the switch on, once you do that it's really hard to get the unit's back together. 5 out of 8 didn't work even after charging all day. I took a few of the units apart only to find broken wires and poor connections. I am a guy who's in technology and can figure out most technical issues and problems, there should be no reason for me, even at my skill level to have to think twice on how I need to repair landscape lights right out of the box. Please don't waste you money, time or effort in these lights. Amazon if you were smart you would ban this item.

Lots of old maids in the set
Title refers to un-popped popcorn :-) These are basically throw away lights, use them for a year or two then replace. Here in Arizona the sun bakes the plastic which gets brittle and cracks after awhile. You do expect them to last a year or so . . . I bought 3 sets (12) to replace the ones that I bought a couple of years ago. Of the 12, 2 flat didn't work, 2 would stay lit for an hour then go dark. I've returned 4 (1 set) and ordered a replacement set for the 4 defective units. Replacements came and right out of the box 1 doesn't light so now I've ordered 5th set and will return a 2nd set to get 12 working lights. Not a good failure ratio. Make sure you check them after you set them out to make sure they are working. . .

work great if you replace the batteries with eneloops
I used to buy https://www.amazon.com/Paradise-Sterno-Home-Stainless-Bollard/dp/B00378K71E/ for 25 bucks and rarely got more than 2 out of 4 working in a box. these usually have all 4 working.they are dimmer than the more expensive ones, and the batteries don't last long, but neither do the expensive ones. I solved the problem by buying eneloop batteries AA https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JHKSN5I/ and replacing the batteries that come with this with the eneloop. the led's are almost twice as bright and last close to all night long if the day was sunny. I'm now a happy camper.the price of the eneloop batteries plus this set of lights is still less than the price of the more expensive brand.

I paid more for 4 locally and they did not ...
I paid more for 4 locally and they did not last as three have so I ordered 8 more and also replaced those cheaply made ones

Worthless
I am not very impressed as the round glass is opaque and does not throw light on the sidewalk. I wish these had clear glass... :-(Should have checked prior to ordering...my bad. The MADE IN CHINA rechargeable batteries are a joke! Of the 4 lights, only 1 battery stored enough charge to run the light for 2 hours. I bought 4 Energizer Rechargeable batteries and installed them after throwing away the Chinese generics. HENCE => SPEND ANOTHER $10 ON ENERGIZER RECHARGEABLE BATTERY 4 PACK.
