GENIUS Sleeping Collagen Night Cream

I love Algenist GENIUS Sleeping Collagen Night Cream! I have very dry skin that’s always seemed to want to be more like the Sahara Desert than skin. Anytime I washed my face no matter what kind of cleanser I used, afterwards my face felt so uncomfortably tight that any movement would cause it to shatter into 1000 pieces. Before I found Algenist’s GENIUS Sleeping Collagen Night Cream, I’d tried dozens of moisturizers, creams, & treatments. After applying them my skin felt great, but by the morning my skin felt like I’d never even moisturized. So to say I was shocked the first time I tried this night cream would be an understatement. It’s the only cream I’ve found that when I apply it at bedtime, in the morning my skin still feels plump, supple, & perfectly moisturized. Algenist’s Sleeping Collagen is very thick, similar in consistency to room temp butter, & feels very rich & creamy, because of this, a small amount is enough for your entire face & neck. I would say its price point is moderate compared to other products. However, since a jar easily lasts 4-5 months or longer, it actually ends up being an exceptional deal. Especially, since you won’t have to buy additional products to get the results you desire, because Algenist’s Sleeping Collagen actually does what it claims to do.

This is a fantastic product for aging skin. I am 71 years young and noticed an improvement in my skin after one week.

Love this cream- it’s thick and creamy but not oily. It has a slight sweet smell but it’s not overly scented like a lot of creams. My skin can be pretty sensitive to anything overly scented, and this hasnt caused me any issues for years.

This cream is amazing!! I have dry skin, and oh...my...gosh... it moisturizes like no other moisturizer I've ever used before. I can't get enough of it! I usually buy Koren skincare products because they're clean, effective, and budget-friendly, but this Algenist product is worth the $$$! Obviously, I wish the price was lower, which is the ONLY reason why it's missing a star, but honestly, if you want to treat yo self this is it!

The first time I ever bought this, it was like I bought it in the store. When it was on sale, the color was not the same and it was not as creamy. I think it’s old when the price is reduced.

I got this half off on prime day, and I definitely would not repurchase at full price. I had read about vegan "collagen" - most vegan collagen products are encouraging the production of collagen in your own body and not actually collagen from plants - and how this is one of the only actual collagen rather than collagen producing vegan items on the market. It's a thick balm/paste, significantly more viscous than a thick moisturizer - more like the consistency of vaseline but creamy? This is actually nice since it lasts a really long time; a tiny bit covers your whole face. I haven't noticed any amazing effects vs my regular skincare (upscale vegan products but not containing plant collagen) but the scent is a nice, subtle vanilla-y coca that isn't artificial and doesn't bother my allergies or sensitive skin. It melts into the skin nicely. It just doesn't seem to be doing much after months of use.

So glad I found this on here! I always got it at Sephora and they stopped carrying it. I use it at night. I’ve used it for a few years now. It doesn’t all soak in, some stays on top of skin leaving it soft. Does not give me break outs. I know it’s expensive but I tried and haven’t found anything that costs less that is similar that I like as much to replace it.

The product is defected, yellow liquid instead of cream . Plus the package was ware and tear, just like getting out of trash bin. Very bad shopping experience.
