Hi i was trying to used this blade on my 7 inch chicago electric bridge tile saw the saw keeps cutting out once the blade ii on the saw (whats wrong)

1. Is the saw powerful enough to turn a blade that size when cutting? 2. If you have a hand held saw then you might be binding the blade 3. Is the blade on backwards....i e wrong rotation

What is the kerf or the width of the cut made by this blade? Does it really cut smoother and less chips than a regular continuous blade?

I just measured and the kerf is 1/16 inch. As far as a smoother cut goes I used mine on 3/4 inch stone for a fireplace project and it cut the stone with no chipping at all.
