A hub of many interfaces.
This is a fantastic hub. Has most ports, all clearly marked, that you may need for interfacing to your Mac.Comes with a stubby cable with is stored within the hub and a longer one when you need the extra reach.Construction is robust and weighty. It is expensive for what it is, cheaper alternatives are available, but for me it ticks all the boxes. A good buy.I award five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Happy shopping.

Versatile hub.
Purchased this hub to add connectivity to my M1 Mac. Good selection of ports - well built, doesn't overheat and sits nicely on Mac's stand. 'Extra' cable provides for versatility for when used in association with Macbook.

Twelve South to the Rescue!
Let’s be real here, Apple has always been rather minimalist with the ports on its devices, especially on anything not called a Mac. So when I got a new iPad Air earlier this year, the need for a hub of some sort became pretty obvious. Well, Twelve South to the rescue! As someone who’s been using their products for years, my choice was effectively made for me when I saw the StayGo mini available. Two clicks and three days later, I had it in my hands. And what can I say, it’s classic Twelve South. The hardware is top-notch, it fits solidly on the side of my iPad Air and it does what it says on the tin. In addition to the hub itself, there’s also a USB-C extension cable in the box that’ll allow you to leave the StayGo mini on a desk while your iPad or laptop is on a stand. I’ve only used it briefly with my MacBook Pro as a test, but it works surprisingly well. As for its intended use with an iPad, I’m currently writing this review on the train from Cork to Dublin, with the hub connected to my M1 iPad Air and an SSD and pair of headphones plugged in, and it’s working like a charm. That’s also where the picture for my review was taken. There are a few things that keep me from giving the StayGo mini the full set of five stars. Two of these are cosmetic in nature. The plastic face of the hub came with an extremely persistent protective sticker attached to it. Even after multiple attempts to clean that off, the residue is still somewhat visible. In addition, the hub is ever so slightly thicker than the iPad, which kind of destroys the seamless appearance of the hub. The third and last bit of criticism is that the StayGo mini lacks an SD/microSD card reader. It’s a minor oversight, but it would have given the StayGo mini just that little bit of extra usability. As it stands, it is an excellent bit of hardware that’s a must have for anyone who wants to use their USB-C iPad for anything more than just content consumption.

Smart looking hub with long and short adapters
I really like that the hub has both a long and short adapter so as to be travel and personal space friendly. I wish the USB ports had a bit more labelling and defining as to why specific ports are with a lightning icon or not. I'm looking forward to the long term use with this hub and I hope that I will get more use out of this with this MacBook as well as with my next one. Also because this a hub with a lot of ports, I wish a drawstring bag or some storage sleeve came with it since I'm in an environment which is dusty and I don't want to get it damaged or clogged with dust.

Great
Very happy with this, good quality well built item. I mostly use this as a docking station, I have a desk set up with monitor, keyboard, mouse etc and switch between two different laptops for work plus my own Macbook Pro. It's hidden behind the desk and plugged into my Macbook power supply cable. The included 1m cable can then switch between laptops and charges them and connects them to everything without having to move anything else around. Also handy to take out and about with the hidden smaller cable inside to use as an adaptor for my Mac which obviously only has Thunderbolt ports on it. Very happy.

Stopped working in less than a week
Day-1 first impressions, loved it, solid build and the extension cable meant I could hide/tidy my desk. Fast forward to the next week and no sign of life when booting up...except...remove the MacBook Air power cable and the display comes to life. The power passthrough port appeared to trip out the display and any connected devices despite being well within the 100w max limit. Really disappointing as I had high hopes for this.

I wanted to love this
I really wanted to love this product.I have several USB-C hubs and they all have issues, be it fixed cables that are too short, a lack of ports or some other functionality that I really want. This was supposed to replace several hubs for me.The ethernet port is a great addition as a lot of thinner hubs and devices sacrifice the ethernet port for size. 3 USB A ports is nice, especially as 1 is a charging port. The ability for this to provide power pass-through is great, it can draw 100W from the charger, but needs 15W itself when doing pass-through, so your device will only get 85W. This isn't a show stopper as most laptops don't use the full capacity of their chargers. The hub itself feels solid, and is really nicely machined, it is a bit on the larger end of the scale when it comes to hubs, but the detachable cable means that you don't need to wory when it's in a bag, and the wealth of connections means that you can justify the size quite easily. The connections all snapped into place and felt solid. The icons etched on the hub are all clearly visible, so you know what port does what.My rating is based on the fact that the hub I received didn't charge my laptop. I tried using both the short travel cable, and the longer cable included, as well as a couple cables that I already owned that are rated at 100W PD, and I knew worked. I also tried using 3 different power supplies, a 45W (my laptop's charger), a 60W and a 100W.I am not going to waste my time getting a replacement, I will continue with what I already have, and maybe in the future go with a brand that I already know and trust.
