Q: What is the sell by date on these? i want to know before i buy them. i don’t want old candy. thank you.

My grape doesn't have a date...... because they are old and hard and discolored

Q: Why has the expiration date from each candy package been removed with some type of scratching process???? Was this candy tampered with???

I purchased this same candy and it tasted awful, I also purchased the same candy directly from Hi Chew in Irvine, CA, it was delicious. I sent an email directly to the HI-Chew company because I thought maybe the purchase from Amazon was a copy cat. I sent the lady a picture of the HI-Chew packaging from Amazon and she told me that candy wasn’t a copy cat, it was expired, it was over two years old that’s why it didn’t taste right, she could tell by the number embedded into the packaging. If it doesn’t have a current expiration posted on the package, I would send it back. That’s what I did and Amazon gave me my money back. I had originally purchased large packages of the Hi-Chew from Amazon.
