Ultimately, this is a sturdy plastic cage with top and side attachment fixings for use with an Osmo Action camera.The cage has a sliding rear section which enables the Osmo Action to be inserted into the cage face first and makes for a secure and close fitting.There is a cut out on the side side which allows easy access to the Osmos side bay and facilitates the use of adapters for external mic's etc.There is also a fixing on the bottom to allow adding the camera to a tripod.The cage does what you would expect and makes filming easier when using accessories.I bought this to enable the use of an external Rode microphone with a third-party adapter for the Osmo action and it works perfectly in that regard.

This cage is a game changer has two hot shoe mounts and one with a 1/4 thread. Fits mic adapters while having the cage on and goes nicely with most tripods!
