I like this ( i bought two). Simple. Safe. Practical. Protects your bench and your router, but also your jig saw and any other device with a protruding element. Very nice. A cheap and robust solution

Handy little router stand

I previously thought these were a bit of a gimmick but actually use it most of the time when routing with my cordless palm router. It’s especially good when not using the plunge base as it protects router bits. It means you don’t have to release the depth stop to retract the bit before putting it down.

I brought these in the hope they would be as useful as I had hoped and I have to say they didn't disappoint

Der Router pod ist ein wirklich sinnvoller Helfer in der Werkstatt. Ich nehme ihn immer, wenn ich die Oberfräse auf die richtige Tiefe eingestellt habe und die Einstellung eine Weile nicht verändern will. Besonders bei Abrundfräsern sinnvoll. Das macht mir die Arbeit viel leichter. Klar, ich hätte mir sowas auch bauen können, aber darum geht es hier ja nicht. Ich bin mit dem Teil super zufrieden. Es könnte nur etwas günstiger sein.
