Would these work to cover up names then rewrite the names on the tabs. the writing still show though from below once I write on them

They are semi-opaque, I use them to mark pages in a book and can see the type through them

One, the side with no colour is sticky.

Can these cover names up in my address book without the name showing though I will be rewriting the name on the tabs

Hi, although you'd write the new name on the tab and stick it on the old name, the old name will show through as half of these tabs are clear and are transparent. Please keep in mind that only half of the tab is sticky. You may be better of using 'Snopake Correction Fluid' which will cover the old name entirely and allow you to write a new name over it.
