Use this one to replace the one that the hospital gave me (after hip surgery). Comfortable, easily adjustable. Take your time, and be sure to use a flat surface like a table, to get the side panels positioned properly. The Velcro is very sticky. And adjust the length of all the straps to your leg. I do that with staples temporarily and then a few stitches with heavy thread. Just fold the loop portion of the strap back on itself to shorten it by a couple inches, whatever you need.

I fractured the bottom of my femur at the knee. I need to keep my knee straight and stable to stop pain and for the fracture to heal. Works great. no knee pain when wearing. When sleeping no need to keep it very snug. Worth much more than what I paid

The brace works well at imobalizing your knee/leg. The only issue (as some mentioned) is that when you walk, the brace slips down towards your foot. Thank being said, you shouldn't be walking if you need to immobilize your knee/leg. You should be on crutches.

This brace is hands down better than what the ortho sent me home with. The only issue is that it slid down my leg and I had to constantly re-adjust it.

So I just got the bill for a BERG brace that I got after an injury in an orthopedic surgons office. This is a much much nicer brace. The Berg that I got cost me $125 (and insurance didn't cover it) This brace feels like mostly higher quality materials. (Except the Velcro straps which are freying.). It is essentially the same design. The only difference is the materials. I feel like the panels and padding are much better and the Velcro straps are slightly worse but for the price difference, I would not hesitate to recommend this over the Berg.

I purchased two of the Knee Immobilizers, just in case one of them got wet or soiled. It holds the knee straight and is comfortable. My 98yr old mother fell and twisted or sprained her knee joint. No torn tissue, thankfully. But for a week I had this device on her day and night, and we believe it helped the healing and for sure eliminated pain of knee bending. The only caution is that even though you adjust it quite snugly, if you put it on over pants material for overnight, it can somehow slip out of place down to the ankle, so we suggest putting it on direct to skin for best adhesion of placement. I used the brace to keep my knee in place while waiting for a total knee replacement. The PT helped me pick it out according to my needs. But the brace wasn’t a month old when the stays popped through the fabric. The brace also started bending and twisting.

This is adjustable in a few spots & very sturdy keeping the knee immobile.Thin enough to wear under loose jeans or Sweat pants.We haven't had any issues with it coming loose once its velcroed in place.Priced really well too.
