Does the hat offer UV protection?

Hi Barbara and thank you for your interest in our Women's Race Day Cap. This hat does not offer enough UV protection to be rated. We do have other caps that have a 50+ UPF rating. Will this hat sustain well for a marathon? There is a lot of pressure and headaches I get from running

I ran an half marathon and I never had any issues.

What is the circumference of the hat? Will it fit a 23" head?
