Great speakers, definitely worth your money!!!
I got these speakers because I read they were nice and I wanted some speakers to use instead of my laptop's speakers. These are some really good speakers, they just about double the sound output of my laptop (i.e. at half volume it sounds a bit louder than if I maxed my normal laptop speakers) and the omnidirectional sound makes the sound incredible. In some of the reviews you will read that they don't output bass that well. I don't seem to notice a major drop, while it may be a slight difference (and by that I mean pretty negligible). It may be because I have slightly above average hearing and I can actually hear it or maybe the other reviews had used speakers in the past that emphasized bass a bit more heavily and so they were accustomed to a higher bass output. Again I personally feel that the output isn't dropped at all and if it is one could probably dismiss it.The LED lighting is pretty and gives the speakers a very nice ambient feel. The size makes it so that they do not take up much room at all which is nice if you usually have a lot going on at your desk and makes these speakers not to much of hassle to bring around places especially with the case. The case feels very nice and holds the speakers very nice and snug. The way the speakers are turned on is also very nice because instead of finding a switch or button you can just press the top down to turn it on or off pretty much effortlessly, simultaneously if your feel bold. The cable also feels great and is very convenient as it entails the recharge system and 3mm audio jack in the same set up. That being said the cable is about maybe an inch or 2 longer than a foot if not the same length. This to me seems to be the only possible conflicting attribute because if someone is using this with their desktop it may prove to be a bit of a stretch to set them up in a left and right position. BUT these speakers were designed for the purpose of being powerful PORTABLE speakers. Due to that it would make sense that on something a laptop they wrap around fine because it was designed with mobile devices as the main focus(hence the size as well). In that case I would suggest getting a different type of speaker for your desktop, BUT I still fully recommend these speakers anyway for portable use if you have something like a laptop, iPod, etc.Pros:-Great sound-Nice ambient LED-Effortless activation and deactivation-Portable-Nice case-Effectively doubles volume on a laptop and ups the volume slightly on something like an iPod-Convenient cable set upCons:-Cable length is a deterrent for people like desktop users as they MAY have a problem with setting it up, but again this was meant to be a PORTABLE system, not a dedicated speaker set up.

So so...
I bought these for use with my laptop in my office and was somewhat disappointed.Pros:-These speakers are tiny, they will fit virtually anywhere-They look AMAZING! LED glows blue to indicate when they are on and Red to show when they are low on battery-The carrying case is great quality-Definitely perfect for portability-Can turn EACH speaker off individually which is cool if you have one next to a desk phone and need to put someone on speaker.-They can be cranked up loudCons:-Cable included is WAY to short, not over 3 feet I'd estimate and the fact that you have 1 cable to plug into USB, Audio Jack, and both speakers, while convenient for the whole portability factor, sucks for all of my current setups (I use 2 monitors and cannot get the speakers around both sides)-Lacks virtually any sort of bass, which I guess is to be expected (I have a 3rd party sound card and have adjusted mixer settings and was still unable to achieve a respectable amount of bass)-Not really the 360 degree sound they advertise, which I guess is also to be expectedOverall:I'd say these are practical portable speakers that look great and don't sound terrible. While there are definitely more Pros than Cons listed, sorry to say that in this case the Cons for me outweigh the Pros enough that I will be returning these.

Ferox doesn't meet or come close to Razer's claims.
These speakers are below average, and are not worth the fifty odd dollars you would pay for them and live up to none of the claims Razer puts behind this product. To start, the cables for this device are much too short to use them as everyday speakers for your desktop, and much too short to strategically place when using them for a portable device. The speakers are small and do output a large amount of volume, but the louder output on these speakers, the worse they sound.Razer advertises Expanded Resonance Bass which "...delivers rich acoustics and quality bass...", however that is false; the Ferox do not put out ANY bass at all. They also advertise Optimized Digital Amplification which allow you to experience "...crystal-clear audio with lower distortion levels...". Out of the box, these speakers have a higher distortion level than the 20$ Cyber Acoustic speakers I had bought last year. I played with the settings on my computer to try to find a "crystal-clear" sound, but it is not achievable. Finally, they advertise 360 Omni-directional sound. These speakers may or may not accomplish this feat. If they do, it doesn't make up for the lack of ability these speakers possess.I do not encourage anyone to buy these speakers. I am opting to return them.

Rechargeable, portable and good volume range.
Speakers work well and the charge lasts for a few hours at a time.I use them mainly with my smartphone or mp3player when I'm in small rooms without stereos.Rarely get a chance to turn them up as loud as they go, but they seem to have a wide range of effective listening levels.Decent sound quality at low volume levels, great on medium. When I don't want to use the omnidirectional nature of the speakers, I simply leave them in their case with the lid open and it directs most of the sound in that direction.Only con would be the hissing noise the speakers give off when fully charged and still plugged in via usb. It reminds you to remove the usb cable from your PC, but it also prevents enjoyable listening from a constantly plugged-in set of speakers -- but they really aren't meant to be plugged in all the time so I'll forgive that.
