Can this hold a vertical notepad?

Hi thanks for asking, the pocket in the cover where you would slide the notebook or rocketbook in to runs vertically which means it can only hold notepads that can slot in this way. The images should help clarify what we mean!

I often have to go to meeting where we sit in chairs but no table. Will I be able to write in my Rocketbook without having something behind this?
