Last mouse pad I'll buy
I make my living using computers and I go through mouse pads on a fairly regular basis. I decided to treat myself and go with the Elago aluminum one. Yeah, it's just a slab of aluminum with little rubber fet on it, but it's so cool. It looks great, feels solid and the mouse response is no different from using a fabric pad - except it doesn't get all gummy from extensive use. I haven't had to clean it yet, but it imagine it would be easy. The problem I always had with fabric ones (no matter how nice/expensive they were) was the top layer of fabric separating and peeling off the rubber padding. But no fabric, no peeling. The only issue - and it's not even much of one - is that it's makes more noise than fabric when a mouse slides across it. But not a huge problem for me and certainly not a deal breaker.

Mouse Pad for Mac lovers
The good - Nice finish matches Macbook pro and Apple wireless keyboard pretty well seems to be a bit lighter - Nice pads on the bottom side so the aluminum doesn't contact the surface. - Just to give you an idea of size the length and width are almost exactly the same as the iPad and sits just more than 3/16" above the surface of your desk. My criticisms - There were a few small scratches on the bottom side right out of the package. Makes me wonder how easily it will scratch in the future - The company logo is on sideways (I use it in portrait so that my wrist can rest on it, if you use in in landscape your wrist will rest on the sort of sharp edge. - It is cool to the touch at first (I knew this when I bought it) Bottom line It's an aluminum slab, the color is very close to the color of the macbook pro but definitely not a perfect match. Mine had a few scratches on the bottom side , the top side was flawless however. The barley noticeable logo is sideways but not a big deal to me. They do also make these in a grey color I don't know if the color would be a better match or if it would be way too dark. If you have the grey one please let me know.

THIS SHOULD BE AN APPLE PRODUCT.. GREAT JOB eLAGO
I work pretty much exclusively with Apple products and the aluminum shading, feel, and overall appearance is an exact match to their wireless keyboard, aluminum bodies found on the iMac and Thunderbolt display and their track pad. It is pretty amazing. NOTE: ----> IF you have a computer desk or table that is using a GLASS surface than obviously you have figured out that you need a mouse pad to allow it to function. So if you have an iMac or work with Macs this pad will service as a perfect compliment to your entire setup. It looks like it belongs. GREAT JOB. In addition, if you have a mouse and keyboard wirelessly attached to a smart tv and your coffee table has a glass surface than this would do the trick for that as well.

Beautiful!
This mouse pad is the perfect addition to my iMac desk. It is flawlessly designed all aluminum, very solid (heavy) with grips on the bottom to stabilize. It does cause the MagicMouse to drag and make a bit of noise so I suggest getting some felt tape and stick it to the bottom of your Magic Mouse bumpers and it will glide with ease. Highly recommend this mouse pad for those esthetically minded Apple fans!

Mouse Pad for Apple Mouse
The mouse pad is really nice because as I found out the apple mouse is very particular about what surface it works on - what s not so good is the apple mouse itself! Why can't they make a quiet mouse that can slide on any surface? I bought an iMac and the mouse doesn't work too good on my desk or my neoprine mouse pad that I use with my windows pc so I got this. But like others say - it makes a scratching noise so I have to get some felt and glue it to the bottom of the apple mouse. For now I'm using my Logitech PC mouse. Come on apple - what the ? But its a really nice mouse pad and looks good with your iMAC setup (once you make the modifications )

Beautiful, and horrible
At work everything in my office is glass or metal, so I thought this would be the perfect mousepad. I work on the computer all day every day, so I want things to look just the way I want them. The mousepad is beautiful, has a solid heavy feel, and nearly matches the Apple keyboard. However! I'm shocked that other reviewers are not having these issues. 1. Within a week, the surface started to get pitted with dirt from the bottom of my mouse, and with a little moisture what looks like rust spots started to appear. 2. That's FAR from the worst though. The thing that makes it unusable is that the Magic Mouse over time becomes more and more erratic and jumpy on this pad. I took it away and put an upside down legal pad and no more jumpy mouse. This second item makes it pretty much worthless for a Magic Mouse.

Doesn't work well with Apple Magic Mouse 2
Nice mousepad for Apple aesthetics. Matches very closely to your Apple keyboard, laptop or iMac. Easy to clean as well, so it stays looking good. Feels cool to the touch, which can get very cold in winter on an early morning. Its been working flawlessly with my Apple Magic Mouse, but since upgrading to the Magic Mouse 2 I discovered some periodic freezing/stalling of the mouse tracking. Presumably Apple has changed or updated the laser tracking mechanism and it doesn't like the Elago Mouse Pad's etched surface texture and fails to immediately recognise movement. I've just discovered this and am still troubleshooting/testing to see how much of a problem it is, but removing the mouse pad and mousing directly on the timber table stopped the freezing.

Fantastic Pad well worth the cost
Provides a very smooth surface to work on. The mouse glides effortless. Works great with non-MAC mice. The pad has a bit of weight since it is all aluminum and there are rubber pad underneath to stability. Since this is a metal pad, it does get cold. The surface probably would scratch if not careful and the size of the pad is comparable to other pads. Check the pad immediately after receiving to make sure it is not bent - it should lay flat without any movement. Overall, I'd recommend this object.
