Conair Brown Roller Pins, 6.1 Oz

These are very thick and extra long bobby pins for wide or longer hair rollers. The quality is great and I’d recommend these for anybody who needs hair bobby pins that are larger than the standard size.

I keep looking for the strong, sturdy old fashioned big brown bobby pins for putting hair up. These looked the same, but when you try to use them, you can't do it with one hand very well because they're too thin. It flips over itself. The old ones made it very easy to hold your hair up with one hand, and open the bobby pin using your other hand (and usually teeth). Still looking for the old style pins.

I LOVE these pins, which one could find at any pharmacy. Now they come in only black. Why?? They hold not only thick hair, but medium-thick, fine hair, which is very difficult to updo. Tinier bobby pins are worthless; they don't have the holding power, and you need a cast of thousands to do the job. Conair, please consider restocking these at the local level! One could readily find these at any Walgreen's in any town/city. What happened?

These pins might hold hair in place for an updo, but as for holding rollers in place, no way. All the roller pins are terrible these days! They have cut back on the width of the pins (probably as a cost cutting procedure), but they have cheapened their product. So sad to see. I even had a hairstylist I know looking at their suppliers for me. They can't get them either. Come on Conair! Get with it and produce a product worthy of your name please!

Well Made, easy to use. I bought these hair pins to help secure rollers. I have long, fine hair, not sure if thick , course hair will have same outcome
