Avoid most low battery voltage alarms. Fully operational during mute cycle. Review: Exact replacement! - Was an exact replacement for the old one. Easy to install if you have even the smallest electrical knowledge. To install it first, I pulled out the fuse from the breaker panel so I would not get shocked. Then, I unscrewed the old detector. Cut the wires on the RV side and the wires on the old one. After that, I stripped the wires back about an inch for both the replacement CO & Propane Detector and the wires on the RV. (Four wires total) Then, I twisted the wires together and put a wire nut on both wires and then, I put it back on the wall and screwed it down. DONE! Review: Great service - Ordered the product and received promptly. When I installed, the product was malfunctioning and after contacting the manufacturer I returned the defective product for another. The second product arrived quickly and worked great. The price was cheaper than local store.

Perfect replacement for my older RV
Exactly the same propane alarm as previously in the 2004 RV, with a different brand name. So easy replacement. Yea!

Replacement Propane Alarm
Worked great and was easy to install; however it is a little bit smaller than the original that I replaced so it doesn't completely cover the original hole. I made a little template to fill the space.

Excellent Product No Doubts here
Exactly as described and it fit perfectly in the existing screw holes. After installing it, I ran the battery low on the camper it is installed in, and it only alerted me once that the battery was low (which is what it was supposed to do) Very Pleased

Purchased because of the reviews
We are using propane as a fuel source in our new home. It is the first time we have a propane furnace, hot water heater etc. built into our home. We keep the detector in a plug closest to the floor in the basement. Our realtor suggested this "type" of device to give me piece of mind. This device does not have to be hard-wired ... it can be plugged into a regular electric outlet. Believe there is a 5 year warranty on the product too.

Happy with product
Had to replace the one in our RV and this was available locally but for $30 more. Image offered was not the same as the one needing replacement but I called the manufacturer and was assured it was the identical item. So, do I order it or get it locally where I can see the item I was getting. Took a chance to save money. Item arrived today as promised and the item was identical to what was being replaced. Happy with transaction all the way around!!!

Correction : It was a burnt fuse!
My unit does not work in my stationary trailer up north. Completely dead. No power on light or test alarm sound. I would like a replacement. Unfortunately my return date has just passed due to the time lag between order delivery and departing for the north and then determining that it does not work at all. This one is exactly the same unit as the expired one which continuously alarmed last summer because it was worn out. Can Amazon help me? I am still up north in Bancroft? Update: A friend suggested to check trailer fuses. Yes, LP fuse was burnt. Replaced it and LP gas detector lights up and alarm sounds to test.

Works great, it takes between 30 seconds and a minute ...
Works great, it takes between 30 seconds and a minute to detect a leak. I place it in a closed box and used a propane fire starter to test it, worked well. I was doing some repairs in my trailer with some strong aerosol glue and it was strong enough to make it warn us.

Just what I needed.
Just what I needed for my RV. I was worried about it being old but the date on it is less than 2 months ago. 2 wires, easy install.

Exact replacement for the old one.
Exact replacement for the factory installed unit in my 5th wheel. They are supposed to be replaced every 5 years. The original was much older than that when it started alarming. Initially thought there was a propane leak. Realized the alarm plus the color of the light indicates why it is going off. Mine was telling me it had reach end of life. Only took a few minutes to swap out.
