Good paint striper for the DIY person
I have wanted this for years and finally broke down and spent the money. It works as it should and is easy to setup and operate. When you insert the first can, if it does not spray, there is a cable adjustment by the trigger that needs to be set so the can sprays. It looks like an adjustment for brakes on a bicycle. The lines are sharp and 4 inches wide (can set all the way up) as long as there is no wind. Even in a light breeze, the stripe was very good. You need to walk VERY SLOWLY to get the stripes down in one pass. I ended up doing two passes after realizing the need to go SLOWLY. Use a chalk line to guide you!!! This keeps the lines straight. I was able to paint about 100' feet of line with one can. Not saying you will get the same results, but it was good enough for me. Would definitely buy again. BTW, the case of paint (6 cans) was cheapest at Home Depot.

Good value and simple to use
I have never striped anything before and I acheived professional results right out of the box. I striped eleven parking spots in front of my restaurant and it paid for itself with one application. It is a robust design for the do-it-yourselfer, and suitable for light commercial applications. There is opportunity to improve the adjustment process of the spray pattern mechanism. There is no visual indicator to keep the spray can mounting plate perpendicular to the sprayed surface other than eyeballing it. This will not be an issue for most do-it-yourselfers.

Good product
This product is not great by it is good and got the job done very well. The day I marked the parking lot it was windy but it still did a good kid. The only thing that would make it better is to be a little more rugged.

Great Tool for Lining Needs
Great product. Has proven useful for my purpose. If you need to line parking spots, etc..., this would be the tool for you (and the proper can of spray paint).

Essential field lining equipment
I have bought a number of these machines for our youth soccer league (AYSO). As painful as it is to line fields, these machines minimize the wear and tear on the field liner. The mechanism that grabs onto the paint can is sturdy and applies enough force so that the paint emerges in a thick solid line, and a parent volunteer can easily polish off an entire field in under 30 minutes, including the center circle and PK marks. Despite the fact that our machines are used by volunteers and may not always receive the tender loving care they deserve, they hold up for years and they die slowly, giving you plenty of time to order a replacement.

Efficient Easy-toUse Striper
Having never used a striper before, I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy this machine was to use. The box arrived in good condition and the striper is easy to assemble. Pull it out of the box, unfold the handle and tighten the wing nut. It is then ready to use. There are two smaller bolts that you can also tighten to fix the handle at a fixed angle but they are not necessary. The machine works by pulling a trigger in the handle which is connected to a cable which pulls a metal piece in the body of the striper. The metal piece presses up on the spray can nozzle to release the paint. The platform adjusts up and down to regulate the width of the stripe. I pulled it all the way up and got a wide stripe for marking a parking area. I marked for diagonal parking by creating spaces 12 feet apart and marking the stripes at a 45 degree angle. I laid a chalk line for each stripe. With no experience, I was able to measure, mark, and spray 12 lines for 11 parking spaces in 90 minutes. The time consuming part was measuring the spaces and laying the chalk lines. Spraying was easy. There is a little guide in the front of the striper. As you're pushing the striper, align the guide with your chalk line. Your speed will determine the thickness of the paint. If you pause, you may find that the paint doesn't spray again when you pull the trigger. If this happens, give the spray paint can a small twist because the can's nozzle may not be aligned properly after pausing. One spray can will handle about eight lines. After completing the striping, peaople were walking on it within 30 minutes but didn't leave footprints. It started raining about four hours after painting but there was no problem.

Simple To Use - Some Adjustments Needed
This is a simple product but it didn't work at first. The cord that extends the metal tab under the unit to push on the nozzle did not reach the nozzle. So, I had to rig it up to make it reach. I would've sent it back but didn't have time because I was on a job site and needed it to work. I made some minor adjustments myself and had it working. But, I would not be able to resell it because it doesn't function normally. Equivalent to a car without a windshield so you wear a helmet to make it work, but you get to where you need to go. If you buy the unit, use a test can prior to going on a job site. If it doesn't work, you can pull the cord up over the ledge of the hole so it sticks, giving you about the extra 1/2 inch of distance when you pull the handle so that the machine pushes the nozzle.

Easy to follow old parking stripe
Easily assembled. Once I got the desired width of stripe set up (which was the max 4" for me), I was able to follow the faded stripe for a straight line. It's not quite as sharp as the pros, but very nice & clean stripe. I went over it twice since I was stripping rough asphalt so I would get a good coat. If I were doing an unmarked parking area with no previous stripes, I would probably set a straight board to run against so the line would be straight.

as expected / worked as intended...
used to set out a small parking lot, only thing i would modify would be to have a offset marker to follow a string away from the center / paint, but we just carefully used the wheel and it turned out well.
