Everything lined up perfectly. But you need common sense.
I got this as a gift for a friend. I read the reviews some good some bad. I bought anyways because it was laser cut and everything should be exact. I seen where some people mentioned screw holes didn't line up. Then they posted a picture. Going by the picture it was error on their part. Whenever you have to line up multiple holes on a part you never crank down on the screws. You get the screws started then move to next. This allows the part to float to accept the hole alignment. Same thing when changing a tire on a car. You never crank all the way down on first bolt. You tighten all evenly all the way around until flush. Every screw hole or nail hole was dead on. The nails I had to use tweezers to hold as I tapped in. They were tiny. I stained it then did a black wash on it to bring out the etching from the laser. It helped but would be nice if the laser etching was a tad wider or deeper. The one in the picture looks ideal to me. Kind of like the laser was turned up higher and burned the wood more making it more apparent. But over all I think this came out great and should make a nice gift.

Nice detail.
Pretty cool! My son (15) loved this present! Hard to put together though. Very small screws.

Cheapest wood DM screen you'll find.
The Great: Cheapest wooden DM screen you will ever find. Comes with its own carrying pouch made of felt. It's very light. Comes with matching clips. The pieces you screw on are made of a metal material and feel nice. The Good: It's unfinished wood, so you can easily stain it using whatever stain you want. I like the design. The Bad: It's kind of a pain to assemble. Screws are tiny and the screwdriver they give you is *awful*. I just used my electric mini screwdriver I had instead. There are so many screws. Like, almost a hundred screws (if not, more). The Ugly: The wood is most likely balsa wood, which is a weak wood and will easily break. You can feel how bad it is when you're holding it. However, this is most likely unavoidable for the creators, because they used a laser etcher/cutter to cut/etch the designs, and laser etching/cutting requires soft and thin wood.

The screws and nails are super tiny!
It is still a beautiful gift, I wish it came with all necessary tools to put it together. I made the mistake of not looking at the title and thought it was already put together, but I had to assemble it myself. You have to be very careful when using the screws and nails, since they are very tiny.

A little to like, but a lot was a miss for us.
The package arrived. The largest middle part of screen is slightly bowed (doesn't say flat when placed on the table), not a fan of the company logo and website in the middle of the screen and so prominent. I was hoping for the simple side screen art work, but the rogue for character on one screen looks like a creepy pirate. The planes of existence is fine, if you do dnd with it and not other games. Not sure if we will keep or send it back and just make something from plywood that is a little bigger since we don't like the logo being so central or the pirate (seriously that is what he looks like). If you have books and such it would be difficult to see bottom of the screen. 4 inches taller and a bit wider would be handy for the DM. If we keep it we might have spent a lot of money for just the hardware if we scrap the screens themselves. The detail work and style is good.

Awesome
This is amazing. It’s very cool, it looks great. People are upset you have to make it even tho the description tells you that that’s the case. It isn’t hard either, I got it done in a solid 45 minutes. A lot of people are also complaining about the untranslatable “arabic” even though it’s actually Draconic. Over all, I give it a 10/10. I gave it to my Bf who’s DMing our campaign and he is obsessed with it and all of our friends think it’s awesome. Some of the corners are a little sharp, so just be careful!

Wasn't easy to assemble, but . . .
It's quite nice now that it's put together, and the giftee seems to like it a lot more than the cardboard one he was using. : )

overpriced
Its just three pieces of ply wood with very fine laser engraving- too fine really and some hinges, for $80 its an unrealistic price point imo.

Not worth the price!
Really disappointed. I received it and it was just unfinished wood with etchings on it. I had to assemble it myself and some of the metal brackets were bent so they don’t lay flat. Not worth the price I paid.
