The Concise Geologic Time Scale 1st Edition

This is the latest, as of 2016. The text is easy to read and understand. The changes in the time line are explained well. I read it and now use it as a reference.

Clear figures of actual data, excellent for research and teaching

This is a very useful book, but I was very disappointed in the quality of the printing. I don't know what's wrong, but my version is "blurry" and dark. The figures are very hard to read. A colleague at work ordered directly from the publisher, and her version is beautiful. I suspect mine is defiective or "bootleg". Unfortunately, I cannot return because I put my name inside the cover before I realized better versions were available.

Poor quality printing. Not as advertised - no laminated chart supplied with the book!
