Fender Deluxe Drive Telecaster Pickups

These are hands down the best pickups for the least amount of money I’ve ever paid! I have had Seymour’s, lollars, lace, hot rail. I don’t care these are cheap and awesome very clean and clear not too jangly and it is amazing what a bit of overdrive will do. anyways. Very good highly recommended. As stated in other reviews the leads on the bridge pickup are pretty short I just soldered about 2 1/2 inches of wire to the leads and put heat shrink. Problem solved.

Warm and creamy. They still have the Tele- chime without the thin sounding treble bias and feed back. They idle quietly, and accept gain very well. Just microphonic enough to play with over driven saturation. I’m actually impressed.These hit that sweet spot.

I recently bought an Indio Telecaster copy on sale for a really good price. The guitar, after setup, played great, but the pickups were very disappointing. The bridge was thin and weak, the neck was muddy. I ordered these Fender Deluxe Drive pickups and just got them installed today. What a difference! The neck pickup is clean and clear, with enough punch to get some great tones with the right amp settings. The bridge pickup is crisp and bright, and again, has the power to really drive the amp. In summary, these have great classic Telecaster sound, but with the extra power to go above and beyond. Nicely packaged, has instructions and hardware. Great deal for authentic Fender pickups that deliver the sound I wanted.

Expect great tone from these ultra quiet pickups at an incredible price, easy decision! Installed per Fender's included wiring diagram and .022mfd tone capacitor. I usually use .05mfd tone caps with my Tele builds but wanted to try what Fender included, and the results were amazing using the .022 cap across neck, neck/bridge, and bridge configurations. Wired up using CTS 250K volume and tone pots with a three-way CRS switch. Great quality and finish on all parts. Highly recommended with five stars.

Update as of 12/19/2025: Purchased my second set of Fender Deluxe Drive pickups for a Squier CV 50s Telecaster. Married together with the musiclily fully loaded control plate. Results on this guitar are absolutely stunning. Best bang for the buck. Glad I used them again. Original post: Installed these on a Telecaster clone I was refurbishing. Quite impressed with the tone. The neck and neck/bridge combo have excellent blues tonal qualities. The bridge pickup provided classic Telecaster tone (especially with the 22pf tone control rolled back slightly). Unfortunately, I was unable to compare these directly to any other telecasters. Thus, the four stars.

Unless you're interested in attaching a new wire to the bridge pickup or lengthening it somehow the item is completely useless. The wires isn't long enough to attach to anything that will allow it to work. Waste of money. I can't believe fender makes them like this...... Totally useless

I used these to replace a Fender 64 reissue set. I like these a lot better. Half the price. Nice gain. Nice clean tone and will growl when you want it. The 64 reissue had to much Quack for me. It's all a matter of taste. 5 stars 🌟

The pickups themselves were amazing. Great overwound sound. very bright twangy cleans, plays well with distortion although theres a lot of hum and noise when you have the amp cranked. you can get some gorgeous creamy overdriven tones when you use a fuzz pedal and dial the treble way back on the guitar. The customer service was the highlight of this purchase. when i had first bought the pickups, it was having them sent to my old address. i sent them a panicked message with my new address, and they were able to somehow get the pickups to the right address. shout out to whoever made that happen.

Excelente, coloquei na minha fender MIM e melhorou muito o captador do braço tem menos agudo, mas juntando com a ponte da um otimo equilíbrio.

Do not buy recived and only neck pickup worked bridge pickup broken wire and not an origional fender

Pack appeared to be opened, generally in a bad shape. Difficult to make any conclusions about the pickups. Connection cord to bridge pickup was approx 10-15 cm to short making assembly very difficult! To follow up, got full refund!

I replaced the fairly ordinary original pups on my standard Mexican Tele with these and the improvement in tone is unbelievable.They are surprisingly inexpensive Easy to install if you know how to solder.
