This Uniweld nitrogen flow indicator is nicely made from machined aluminum and is easy to use. It is very compact and uses a simple flow ball with a color scale marked 3-5 SCFH for brazing and yellow for 20+ SCFH for purging. It has built-in 200-psi overpressure protection. I made up a short piece of 3/8” copper tubing with a couple of flare fittings so I could set it up for vertical use for my nitro tanks. I find it great for quick set up when flowing nitro for brazing. No more bulky and fragile nitro flow gauge setup needed for brazing and to get banged around on the job all day long. This little flow indicator seems to be working just fine for my needs.

You'll save a lot of money, time and frustration with this device. Unfortunately not many people I know in my trade want to braze with nitro flowing the line set. Probably because they want to go right of the regulator without a flow meter. That's a big mistake. This device keeps the copper from oxidizing on the inside as well as helps to cool the copper quickly in combo with wet rags after brazing. It flows slow so you'll be able to stretch that tank of nitrogen to its fullest! Cha-ching!
