arrived intact, no broken pieces. I mainly use this to mark concrete and various other surfaces for preparation. Works well on plaster, sheetrock, and wood too. Would work as intended on a chalkboard. Hold the piece close to the working tip, it's brittle and will fragment under pressure if not held correctly.

I bought this chalk for a few classroom activities and some outdoor drawing with my kids, and it worked very well overall. The pieces are smooth, easy to hold, and produce bright, visible lines without requiring much pressure. They also didn’t break as easily as some cheaper brands I’ve used before. My kids had a lot of fun using them on the sidewalk. One small downside is that the chalk creates a fair amount of dust, especially when used indoors. A few pieces were also chipped during shipping. Despite that, the quality, color, and durability were impressive, and I would definitely purchase this chalk again.

I’m using the white chalk to help the soil for my lavender and they’re thriving! The colored ones are for neighbor kids to write on the sidewalk. I’m happy w my results but, you know…it’s chalk.

These were purchased for my wife's uses in the kitchen on her cabinet blackboard surfaces. So nice to have colors, too. She really likes these.

If using for teaching reading use only white then the colors after lesson over

Items as described but I was a little disappointed that not 1 piece in 2 boxes arrived unbroken. Only a few are 2” or longer but most are little more than dust

This chalk is awesome. It doesn't leave a bunch of dust everywhere (like on your hands) like some other brands do, and they've worked really well for all my office chalkboard needs. It's also easy to erase with a standard chalkboard eraser, and they write really well.

It’s a good deal but perhaps the product should have been better packaged as a lot of the chalks were broken. Other than that everything else was great.
