Great replacement
I was re-keying an electronic Schlage lock to match the rest of the locks in our home. During the the process, the back plate seperated and all of the pin springs went everywhere and could not be salvaged. Ordered these replacements, they fit in the Schlage lock just like the original and work great.

Works on pella sliding doors
Due to ice my pella door latch shattered. I had to use a stick to secure the door until this arrived. The bronze piece that makes the outside lock and inside switch connect shattered. I took the mechanism apart and saw it was only the lock that sheared off. This fixed the problem without having to contact an official pella contractor. Trying to find a locksmith at a physical location has apparently gone away with the milkman so this is a way cheaper and easier fix than scheduling an appointment with someone trying to plan a new door system when all you need is the lock. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver

Doesn't fit factory Schlage keys, rekeyable (Plus troubleshooting, and childproofing)
I installed this lock cylinder in a Pella Thermastar sliding door, which required knocking the slug out of the handle to make a hole. It works just fine. In fact, the tailpiece was the exact length required to engage in inner latch control toggle thing. (This required the removal of the existing tailpiece, but that is quite apparent during installation.) The original key would not fit the lock slot; fortunately, I had an aftermarket Schlage key copy that fit. Also, I was able to rekey the cylinder. Note: I found that, after doing a dry install that seemed to work just fine, the apparatus wouldn't turn all the way once installed. This variation was a function of the position of the tailpiece. As you will notice, the tailpiece will turn somewhat without engaging the cylinder, as if it has some play (about 1/2 turn, but don't quote me on that). This allows you to return the key back to center for removal without un-/re-locking the cylinder, just as with most lock cylinders. As a result, you can install the tailpiece at the same angle at either its clockwise- or counterclockwise-most orientation; it works in only one of the two positions in my case. TIP: Mark the tailpiece as you are installing it, to have a reference for its position. (Sharpie applied to the uppermost side should do fine.) If you find the lock won't turn properly, reinstall it in the opposite position. As far as I could tell, there are only two orientations for any given latch position. CHILD-PROOFING: The toddler figured out how to unlatch the sliding door, which wasn't a big deal until we decided to use it as a primary source of ingress/egress. (We had been using childproof lock that was only accessible from inside.) I've included a picture of my solution, which involves drilling out the inner handle to allow the tailpiece to be accessible with a tool, but not by fingers. (This approach does require securing the cylinder inside the handle, for which I used fun-tak/poster putty.)

Perfect Replacement After Losing My Keys
I lost the keys to my old lock and needed a quick replacement, so I went with the Prime-Line E 2103 Cylinder Lock since it works with Schlage-shaped keys and fit my door perfectly. Installation was mostly straightforward, but I did have to cut the tailpiece shorter than I expected. That part was a bit tricky and took some extra effort, but once I got it trimmed, everything fit and worked smoothly. The key turns easily and is also simple to removeโno sticking or hassle at all. The lock feels solid and secure overall. Iโm really happy with how it turned out and would definitely recommend it if you need a reliable replacement after losing your keys.

This will NOT work on a SC-1 keyway despite coming up in searchโฆ
NO NO NO NO I searched for a Schlage SC-1 cylinder and this came up as โAmazon Choiceโ. Look close amd see how itโs built compared to an OEM cylinder. Takes forever to line up and doesnโt fit properly not to mention the key gets stuck. Had to try and stuff a piece of cardboard inside the assembly to get the rod to line up with the locking mechanism. Please donโt waste your time with this cheap junk.

Irregular Quality
I bought two of these locks. One worked very well. It fit into the lock assembly without a problem, the key operated properly and the replacement was very easy. The second lock did not operate correctly. The screw-on nut, rear plate and rear pin assembly did not fit correctly so that the assembly basically fell apart when it was operated. No adjustments solved the problem. Because the cost is so low, the fact that 50% operated correctly resulted in 3 stars. Unfortunately I had also purchased 10 duplicate keys at the hardware store before I noticed the problem with the bad lock - these cost more than the cylinder lock.

Outstanding value for a minor DIY project.
I recently installed the PrimeโLine E 2103 Cylinder Lock (1โยผโณ, Schlageโshaped keys) on my sliding Pella patio door, and I'm genuinely impressed. From unboxing to locking in under 20 minutesโthis was one of the most straightforward and satisfying DIY upgrades Iโve done. Easy Installation: The lock fit seamlessly into the existing surface-mounted housing. Installation instructions were intuitive and simple to follow. 2 screws held my existing door handle together. I then used a hammer and screw driver to punch out the center hole. I cut the extra actuator arm off with a hacksaw and filed down the rough edges. It fit perfectly in my door handle and secured everything back together. Reliable Mechanism: The 5โpin tumbler turns smoothly and consistently with the included keys, offering a much-needed level of security. When securing the door handle back to the patio door, don't over tighten the screws. It will cause binding while trying to lock/unlock using the key. Solid Brass & Chrome Finish: The material feels sturdy, with a polished chrome face and brass body that resists corrosion and wear. Perfect for Replacements: If you've ever misplaced your sliding door key or your old cylinder is jammed, this is a fast, cost-effective fix. Final Verdict: If youโre looking for an affordable, dependable sliding door lock replacement and donโt mind using the included keys, the PrimeโLine E 2103 delivers excellent value and easy installation. Highly recommended!

Perfect Cylinder Locks
These Cylinder Locks are perfect and I purchase four of them, the only downfall is that they came keyed to the same operating key instead being keyed differently to their own operating keys. Above all these cylinder locks are perfect, I plan to buy more in the future.

Worked great
Used it to replace a busted schlage cylinder. The length and bits were a hair different, but the pins fit perfectly and the key turned smoothly.

Works, rekeyed to my current key pattern
Item works great and solid quality. Was able to have this cylinder rekeyed to work with my existing Schlage key pattern. The only issue is that thisnwill not fit an original Schlage key; only a thinner copy.

Excellent product
Had to drill a hole in my existing handle which was easy to do. I fit perfectly and works very well. Took less than 20 minutes to install and out the door key in hand...

Fits my sliding doors lock hole perfectly.
Easy to replace. Easy to size. I have no experience changing locks but this was very simple. Saves the money you'd normally pay for a new complete sliding door handle. Which is like $50+ CAD. I only gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure how it will act in -35 weather. Cheers!
