AS DESCRIBED, LOL!!!!!!
Me like an idiot did not read the description, LMAO. So, there is also a chest strap and heart monitor for this system that would be beneficial if you are doing deep water dives or thinking about it. There is even a slot for it in the supplied carrying case. Embarrassingly, I ordered mine separately since I didn't read the description and when I opened the box there was a missing slot. The rest was all packaged beautifully and I cant wait to start logging all my dives. I just got my Open Water Certification so this is my first big purchase so I can start logging my dives and pursue all the rest of my classes.

Great Computer, but WAY TOO Conservative!
I have 4 things I look for in a dive computer 1) Good battery specs 2) Easily readable display 3) Intuitive menus 4) quick & easy access to Nitrox settings 5) good deco algorithm (ok that's 5). I give the G2 5 STARS for the first 4 "needs" ... BUT ... this computer is CRAZY conservative. My first dive I set the personal setting to L3 ... dropped to 30ft, it gave me 10min of bottom time, AT 30 FT, completely unusable (in my opinion) ... so 2 days latter, I set the personal setting to L0 the most aggressing setting. Dropped to 90ft and compared it with my Suunto EON Core. Stayed at 90ft and drove both computers into deco. First, during the decedent the G2 bottom time was always about 2/3's that of the Suunto. At 90ft the G2 entered deco 5min before the Suunto. I stayed at 90ft and drove the Suunto into Deco (5min after the G2). By this time the G2 was showing a 4min mandatory safety stop (and locked on to this for the remainder of the dive!) I then slowly ascended. By the time I was at 40or50ft the Suunto had cleared it's Deco requirements. then at 14ft the G2 started it's 4min mandatory stop, and the Suunto was already 10sec into it's 3min safety stop (started at 20ft). The G2 finished the 4min mandatory stop, then the 3min optional safety stop. What I don't like about the G2 was AT IT'S MOST AGGRESSIVE SETTING, it entered deco 5min early, then locked on to a mandatory safety stop. The Suunto, which is a conservative computer too gives you credit towards the deco stop if you ascend slowly. The G2 needs more aggressive options, anything higher than L2 (the G2 has 9 settings L0-L9) the computer becomes so conservative it's not useable. Also, starting the safety stop at 15ft is annoying, most other computers start at 20ft.But I truly love the G2's displays!! They are easy to read (big & bright). Crystal clear how the computer displays/communicates what is going on. Per ScubaPro's specs, seems like a great battery. Super easy to get to the Nitrox settings. Great wrist strap and great data cable. Pairing with the transmitter was a breeze.

Transmitter is too big
The computer is nice and easy to read but my main issue is with the transmitter. I have a scubapro mark 17 regulator and the scubapro transmitter is too big and I can’t put my air hose on at the same time. I have to use a different port. Someone definitely messed up there
