Worked well on clean textured wall
Great product for hiding and directing one or more cords, which adheres well and looks great. Not designed for use on textured walls, however the adhesive is very strong and will work on them if the texture is minimal and the product is not overly stuffed with cables. I purchased this item through the Amazon Warehouse at a significant discount. The package arrived with Installation Instructions and all the pieces pictured, however the package had been opened before. I wanted to contain the cable from my Mohu Leaf 50 Indoor HDTV Antenna (formerly Leaf Ultimate) to my HDTV. I used two of the strips and one elbow joint for this project to contain and guide the one cable from the antenna over a doorway and down one side of it to the TV. I made sure the wall was clean and dry prior to installation, as well as making sure the cable would easily fit inside and that the strip would snap (locking it). TIP: Place the cable or cords into the Cord Mate II strip you want to use, and snap it shut, prior to placing it on the wall. Then peel back small sections at a time, pressing down on the section with the exposed adhesive and holding it for a few seconds prior to moving on with the installation. This makes for easy installation. I installed one length, then attached the elbow to the installed length, placing the next strip inside the elbow (with the cord already snapped inside it) prior to removing its adhesive and completing the installation. I like that you can cut and paint or stain this product, however I didn't have the need to do either. There is a (2) power cord maximum capacity for this item per the Installation Instructions, however I think if you were containing speaker wire, you could easily fit at least 4 cords inside this item. There is a warning not to loop cords inside the strips. A product that lives up to its promise of 'easy to install', it's also very durable, attractive and useful. Easy to place horizontally or vertically, I highly recommend this product for hiding unsightly cables and cords in any room of your house. NOTE: If you have the need to tidy up more than 2 cords at a time, you may want to consider another solution per the warning that comes with this product. However it will be tough to locate a 'flat' solution with a higher capacity. The Legrand CM62 Cord Mate II Flex with multiple cable ties may be an alternate option to consider.

DOUBLE CHECK PLACEMENT before Sticking Onto Surface!!
I decided it was too much effort to add an outlet above my fireplace so I decided to buy this cable management kit and an extension cord instead. I was worried this kit (Cordmate II i.e holds 3 wires) was too bulky and wouldn't look great along my trim, but I was pleasantly surprised at the finished look! 1. Plan your path. If you're visual maybe draw a picture with measurements where you want this to go before peeling off the adhesive coat. I'd recommend taking measurements and making sure you have enough and marking where you need to cut it. 2. Cut it as needed -I had to make 3-4 cuts. I don't have many tools so I used a hand saw :) It looks a bit messy but it got the job done. 3. Hold the pieces where you want them to go and ensure your measurements are correct. 4. Clean the wall with some water, dry it, then peel back the adhesive on the backs and stick it on the wall (one at a time) -IMPORTANT WARNING -> When placing these down, if there's an edge that'd block off one side of the plastic... I'd recommend opening the plastic piece and ensure this is NOT being blocked by a wall, trim, etc. If it is, this will make your life much harder. 5. I'd suggest pushing the wiring through as you go just in case there are gaps you didn't notice during steps one and three. 6. Add the connectors as needed. I only used 2 or so for my project (see pictures) Pros: -Length was as described I received three pieces 48 inches (4 feet each) totaling 144 Inches (12 Feet) -These are VERY sticky as long as you have cleaned the surface and it's at least mostly flat. -The open / close snapping mechanism to insert cords works well and doesn't show too much of a "line" where the plastic meets. Cons: -Extremely sticky (yes this is a pro too) --PLEASE ensure you have planned where these will go before putting them down. Once they are down they aren't coming back up without taking some paint with them! -You may have to cut the plastic to your desired size. -No easy and safe removal of these once you want to remove them (unlike 3m adhesive). Overall: I'd recommend this product if you're doing this as a long term solution and accept that if you ever need to pull them off you're going to take some paint with you. Note: I wasn't paid for this review or asked to do this. I value Amazon reviews a lot and have made it a personal goal of mine to review

Works well but is fragile
This kit is pretty nice and helped me hide wiring that goes up along a wall to my projector, as well as some speaker and sub woofer wiring around a door frame. The included 3 pieces of the cord channel were just enough for my application, but just barely. One kit will probably not be enough for most applications. The pieces fit together nicely, the connectors are handy, and everything looks neat. The adhesive is fairly strong, which I found out when I tried to unstick a piece of the channel because it was flush against the door molding, and a connector wasn't fitting around it as a result. Each channel should comfortably fit 2 coax size cables, but not too much more. My biggest gripe with the product is the quality of the plastic where the channel hinges open. When I got mine, part of it was already cracked along the length of the hinge. While I was cutting another one shorter, I pressed down on the top of the channel while holding it down, and it just cracked through in that spot too. After that I was careful about how I held the pieces and avoided additional grief, but perhaps the plastic should be a bit thicker or less brittle to prevent this. Fortunately, the cracks weren't too visible and the product got the job done, so only one star lost!

Excellent Cable Management System
I found this both locally at a home improvement store and online. The amount saved online was $5 (for a $20-$25 item), so I waited the extra day or so for it to arrive. The quality of the Legrand brand is something I am accustomed to, as I have used its medium and large capacity cable management kits in the past. It's as simple as measuring, cutting, sanding (I used a rasp), and installing/sticking. It helps to zip tie the cables together to make concealment/placement easier, but not necessary, especially if you need the cable(s) being installed to move (e.g. a cable antenna). I've used these in the past and based on that experience, paint adheres to the casing very well, but this time around I chose not to paint them because the channels were mounted to a white surface. Overall, this is a cost effective approach to cable management that makes the appearance much neater. You could make your own solutions with 1" PVC pipe, but you'd have to install your own adhesive or use screws to mount. This kit makes it convenient because of the strength of the adhesive strips and the plastic is soft enough where a small hand saw or coping saw can cut through easily for a custom size. The closure secures nicely and does not pop open unless you have the channel overstuffed. I highly recommend these for a cleaner look.

Very simple to use! Room for more than one cord!
I needed to run a cord in an obvious place, and didn't want it hanging there looking ugly and being a tripping hazard, so I found this product. It consists of 2 self-adhesive backed strips and various connectors (to turn corners.) I could have used more outside corner pieces for my particular use, but modified one of the leftover pieces with a razor blade. You just cut the strips to the length you need, peel the paper off the adhesive strip and push it to the wall. I didn't even use a hacksaw (mostly because I was too lazy to go all the way to the basement to get it!)..I just used a razor blade. I did find it easier to open the channel (if you squeeze it a little the channel opens easily), slip in the cord (there is room for more than one electrical cord...maybe a coax cable and one/two more if you need tv cable), then push the whole thing onto the wall. I didn't paint mine, but it would probably be easier to do that before hanging them, as well. The connector pieces don't have adhesive backing (wish they did) but they just snap onto the channel strips. If you need more bendable strips (these are just straight), they also sell a flexible channel here: Wiremold C110 White Cordmate Kit. The product works well and probably could be screwed inside the channel if the adhesive ever seems to fail (or if you want a more permanent application.) Overall, a very nice idea for a common problem of too many loose cords!

Great product. Stupid shipping.
The product is just what I needed. I had already used these conduits and they are really easy to put up and they stay put. My problem is with the shipment. This product was shipped by UPS. I bought other items that were shipped by UPS and they delivered it to our home. We live in a small farm down a dirt road. This time UPS decided they weren't going to deliver it to my home. They delivered it to the Post Office. I spoke to UPS and they gave me the USPS tracking number and their telephone number. I called the USPS 800 number opened on Saturdays, and they said it was in the main PO. I asked them, could they leave it there and not ship it? They said, Yes. I went to the PO and dumb old me, I forgot to bring the tracking number so they couldn't search by name. So I had to take the 12 mile trek to our home to get the number. I returned to the PO and they searched by the tracking number and found out that they didn't have it, nor did the private contracted carrier have it like they said. It was shipped to a PO branch 12 miles from the main post office, so I went there and they did have it. Then I had to make another 12 mile trek to our home. It was shipped free, but it cost me over $10 in gas let alone the wear and tear on me and my truck.

For those not wanting to tear up drywall immediately
I am a wire nazi and like all my A/V cables run neat. However, after my new LCD was mounted I had a power cable and HDMI cable ruining the look. I did not want to rip through drywall, route around fireplace vents, drill through 6 studs, and refinish drywall to make it look nice. Maybe one day I will, but not yet. I posted images of the before and after condition. Wiremold Cordmate II was an ideal solution: 1) Inexpensive 2) Easy to install 3) Very pratical and funtional 4) Looks good 5) Individual pieces available (elbows, corners, etc.) Install took maybe 1 hour total to plan, measure, cut, and paint (20 minutes of actual work; 40 for paint drying). I painted before install and found that applying paint with a small brush and then using a small, dry roller gave a very finished look. Also make sure your cables are plenty long enough (with some alpha factor) before installing. Do not plan on running a ton of cables through this version - power, HDMI, and maybe a coaxial would be it. I was very skeptical about the cordmate's ability to hold in corner with thick cables. I had an inside and outside 90 degree elbow within 3 inches which is a lot of force to hold. But the double sided tape is very strong and holding very good. Perhaps the only minor downside would be ability to add or change cables. It does open, but it takes some pressure. So make sure to feed all wires needed first before taping to wall. Overall, this wire nazi is very impressed and would highly recommend.

Ridiculously expensive for what it is but it works very well and looks great! - edit - won't stay stuck to walls
I'm reducing my rating to 4 stars from 5 stars. It still looks great, but as others have mentioned, the double-sided tape on the back only lasts between 6 months and a year. I've had to put screws into the wall to keep these up. Not a huge hassle but it would've been nice if it just worked as it came out of the box. That said, I'm still buying more as it's still the best system on the market. Original review below This kit's extremely expensive but there simply aren't a lot of options out there to keep your wires neat. If you're leaving it white you can have your wires neatly installed around an entire room in less than an hour. I cut mine with the cutting wheel of a dremel with no issues. Besides the price I only have two complaints. First, the kit comes with lots of unnecessary pieces/connectors. I wish there was a more cost effective way to purchase just what I needed. Second, if you're painting it, plan on LOTS of coats. My home theater required these to be a deep red, it took between 5 & 6 coats of a high quality paint (it only took two coats on the walls) to get a streak free finish. Now that they're up, they look great; you barely notice them at all.

Great for hiding speaker cable.
Got these to run speaker cable around the room to the back. They work great for that. They're barely noticeable running along the shoe molding. The adhesive tape on the back really sticks. I doubt they will come off easily so be careful. I had no use for all the joiner accessories so can't comment except to say they seem to give you enough for whatever you're going to be doing, in most cases. I understand that these are made out of a plastic that can be painted although I didn't need to do that. There is a bit of room in them but I wouldn't get carried away. It seems you could stuff 3 Ethernet cable into them if you had to but that would be tight depending on the cable. Con is that this is very expensive for what you get.

Iโd buy it again
Works well to hide wires, the lack of optional extra pieces for sale from the manufacture make this a bit more costly than Iโd like to see but quality product with really strong bonding tape. Iโd lay it all out with the wires in place first, then maybe remove sections of the tape you require, and maybe not all. Iโd buy again

Good way to hide cables/wires
Good product to hide wires/cables, and eliminate tripping hazards. The kit contents are ok, but it would be better if other kits combinations were available. Had to buy 2 kits to get fittings I needed, but now I have too much conduit. Also adhesive on conduit has already started to let go, even though I cleaned the surface well, with de-greaser. I have drilled small holes and used #4 screws to rectify the problem
