Pretty watch with a lighted dial
This watch has easy-to-read numerals and a dial light that you activate by pressing the winding stem. Thatβs a feature that is more common in digital watches, so Iβm glad to have it in an analog watch. The leather band is sporty and attractive. Itβs a bit stiff at first, but it should become more supple with use. This is a nice watch.

PERFECT watch for average-size wrists (measure if you have a larger wrist)
Have worn this model and loved it for many years. It's lightweight, doesn't get in the way and keeps time perfectly. When the band finally started wearing out at the same time the battery finally gave out I decided to use an Amazon gift card to get a new one for free (if I hadn't had the gift card I'd definitely have replaced band and battery on the old one because I love this watch so much). I have worn it while gardening, exercising, doing all kinds of DIY projects and it has held up to all kinds of banging around. It has gotten splashed with water numerous times from the garden hose and once accidentally dropped in the goldfish pond for 30 minutes and lived up to the Timex "keeps on ticking" motto. My new watch looks identical in every respect to my old one, for once it seems a company has kept a good thing going. It's keeping perfect time so far (6 weeks) and on close inspection I can't detect any signs of cheapening/substitution in the manufacturing from my old one. It's a pretty, classic design, watch face size and shape are perfect for my taste, not too big or too small, and the font used for the numbers is very attractive so I don't feel like such an "old lady" for wanting an "Easy Reader" watch. Some commenters write that the band on the current watch is shorter than older versions, attaching photo of my old (10+ years) and new ones, length is exactly the same on mine. Some commenters write that the watch band is too short, period - laid out flat band + watch + buckle = 8 inches. Fastened using the second hole from the end the circumference of band + watch = 7.5 inches, so if your wrist is on the larger/thicker side I do recommend you measure your wrist and current watch before you order. I have a 6 inch wrist and buckle on the 3rd or 4th hole depending on what I'm doing. Some commenters write that the band is too stiff - if you've had this watch before, the new one feels exactly like the old one did when you started. It is a bit stiff at first (hey, for this price I don't expect glove leather!) but after a month it's already getting a lot more flexible day by day just as the old one did, just needs a breaking-in period. Working the band with your fingers a bit every day before putting on and after taking off speeds up the process, massaging in a drop or three of Lexol speeds it up too. Again, I'm fine with that for this price! All in all I'm super-happy to find that this is the same pretty and practical watch I have loved for years. Thank you Timex!

Great watch
Love this watch. The numbers are clear and I can see the time without my readers. I also love the light up feature! Good value for the money. I have a VERY small wrist but this fits just fine.

Dainty watch with thin, leather band--a nice change from sports watches.
It's very attractive, almost decorative, but also very small. If someone has poor vision or has to reach for glasses to read the dial, it may not be the best choice. I like it for wearing with nicer clothes but it seems fine for every day use. When I first got it, the leather band was very stiff and hard to latch, due to a hand injury and surgery. I'll have to wait for full healing to get it on my wrist comfortably. Otherwise, it fits well and looks great.

Lights up too
My mother needed a new watch. Easy to read numbers. Backlight is a big plus. Looks great and can go with many outfits for her. She was very pleased. She was not able to find what she was looking for looking around the stores but Amazon had what she needed.

SO PERFECT
The media could not be loaded. Okay so I used to have a Smartwatch with a silicone band. It was great for all the features, but the silicone actually burned my skin, and I wanted something low tech. So I needed a watch with a natural material band. This is perfect!I love the size of the band; it's not too big or bulky for my little wrist. I love how dainty it looks, but the leather strap is actually so durable. I love the size of the watch face although if it was smaller face that would be totally fine too, just not bigger. This one is the 25 mm width one.The brown leather and gold is just the perfect classic elegant combo and goes well with casual or dressy clothes. I love the display that has the little date stamp on it. You just push the button in to see the glowy face at night. The button has 4 settings: OUT (change the time). MIDDLE (change the date clockwise) IN/NORMAL (the time and date tick normally), and Pressed IN (the glow light on the face turns on for as long as the button is pushed).Idk if anyone else does this, but sometimes I don't actually want a watch on my wrist, and dont have pockets, but still want the time on me. So I put my watch on my ankle ππ I actually did that on my wedding day, and I have a photo of me lifting up my dress and checking the time on my ankle π. I'm telling you, it's an amazing life hack.Anyways! This is the perfect watch. I don't have any improvements to say. It's so amazing.

Black clock face, white numbers, lights up
Design is basic: black face, white numbers, and lights up for use in the dark. Black leather band is narrow and modern looking, adjustable for just about any wrist size. Overall, inexpensive watch that looks great.

Good Watch, Bad Watchband
I've worn this watch daily for 5 months. I love the simple watch face, and the gold metal looks nice with other jewelry. I love the retro indiglo tech. My only qualm is the band. I've had Timex watches before and they have always had decent bands that (of course) need replaced periodically. I've never had a watch band look so bad in 5 months. The leather top is glued on, not stitched, and the piece that holds the extra strap is badly frayed. The underside of the band is badly cracked in many places. It's not uncomfortable to wear, but it's awkward to put on. Very annoying from a company I trust to make decent products.
