Samsonite Wheeled Catalog Case, 17-1/4 x 7-1/2 x 13 Inches, Black (458311041)

This is a great briefcase for taking documents to court or on business trips. Plenty of pockets and the locks are secure. I like that there are hangers for hanging files, but they are removable for when I don't need them. Wheels are sturdy. Four stars, not five, because the padded computer sleeve is not removable, so it unnecessarily takes up a lot of extra space when I don't have my computer in there. Also wish it had a band in the back so I could piggyback it with a suitcase.

The fabric is failed, I do not reccomend this product, either is low Quality or is a fake Samsonite

This is a nice case. However, after using for a couple of months, the handle doesn't always want to catch in the up position. Also, I don't like the closure because I don't think it will last long term. Basically, if you have any kind of weight in it and you pick it up by the handle, what appears to be getting the brunt of the weight are the two clasps on top. That's it. I'm sure that will fall apart long before the bag will.

This is my second case. My first case wore out when one of the wheels came apart after 5 years of use. I had to cut away the inside laptop sleeve because I need to carry files and it took up space. The soft side is nice because it gives a little when you are stuffing it with files. I cannot speak for the locks as I don't use that feature. It works as expected and with use, these cases never last forever anyway.

My wife is using the to lug her books and laptop around campus for grad school. Holding up nicely after the first semester. I use a similar Samsonite bag for work and it's held up to frequent travel in my vehicle and infrequent flights over the past 4 or 5 years. I wish they still made my bag because it had a little more storage capacity for those needing to move large quantities of files like I do, but this is still a great executive case. Provides convenient access to all of the storage areas. Zippers and clips are very durable. Checked another brand before purchasing this one and the bags on the shelf had broken zippers with the manufacturer stickers still in tact. The bag has good quality wheels that have lasted me years over sidewalk and asphalt. Handles have held up well to schlepping heavy loads around town. Exterior has performed well in inclement weather, albeit I haven't taken it through torrential downpours. And the exterior has held up nicely with little signs, if any, to wear and tear. Would strongly recommend this product.

Handle is very poor, could break off very fast. Didn't use on trip for fear of handle breaking! Samsonite really!

Only giving it four stars bc the laptop pouch wasnt detachable and annoying that I couldn't pack more books into it. I ended up cutting it out, now it fits much better. A more ergonomic flap handle would be better. It's giving me callouses from the times I have to lift it up.

After about 2.5 months of use the handle button broke/got stuck and wouldn't retract any longer. I also started having issues with the latches/locks that close the top of briefcase. They wouldn't align properly and the latches would often get stuck.I had the same briefcase before and didn't have these problems. Unfortunately, that one got stolen and I guess since I had that one the quality of the briefcase deteriorated tremendously.

Roomy and rolls very well

Such a great essential for the traveling business person. I'm able to fit my lap top, all my brochures, extra essentials, and more. Wish it came other colors.

Spacious luggage.......but the latch doesnt lock well. You still need to align it with the open IV unlike suitcases where locks are easy to open and close.

This is a very good briefcase and it is reasonably priced.
