21" blade? That sounds more like a big knife or short sword being a weak "maybe" , but most definitely not a broadsword thats just) daft

The term "broadsword" doesn't have a strict definition. Lengths for one handed swords vary greatly. This is closer to a wakizashi or gladius in length than an arming sword, which most people think of as a "broadsword."

Is this like a taichi sword? Where is the balancing point located?

Have used it for that purpose. That said it is about 6" shorter than most tai chi swords (jian), but about the same weight due to thicker blade and completely full tang grip. Mass produced swords like this vary in actual balance point a little, but mine balances at 4" from the cross guard. Handles well for some cutting, but is a wonderful thrusting blade.

My wife ordered me the broad sword for Christmas. Looking for a belt attachment for the sheath. Anyone have a link for what works?

No belt but you can buy a molle belt clip that fits it, aliexpress website or wish
