Denso 234-4079 Oxygen Sensor

2000 Jeep wrangler se, after catalytic converter. Bank 1 sensor 2 if I remember correctly. Worked great. Galled the threads getting the old one out, but what are you gonna do. No more check engine light. Seriously a fraction of the cost of the fancy "oem" sensor, I'd rather replace 5 of these than buy one of those....... As if 5 of these would fail!

I purchased 2 since they were supposed to fit both upstream and downstream. Length good (about 18") but the connector for the up stream does not fit the upstream connector. Even Rock Auto had this wrong for upstream

Check engine light came on. Code indicated front driver side oxygen sensor heater circuit. Looked on Amazon as I usually do and bought 2 of these sensors. Figured it only made sense to change both. Cleared the code (PO 155). Second engine start the light came back on. This was the beginning of a costly diagnostic and repair. Technician told me it was a bad oxygen sensor, which I didn’t believe bc I had just installed these new Densos. He insisted that he wanted to remove the Densos and install new OEM Mopars. Bottom line; the OEM sensors immediately cured the issue. The cost for all this diagnostic troubleshooting and 2 new Mopar sensors- $640.Do yourself a huge favor and buy OEM. IF I had done this in the first place my total tab would have been <$200.

Exact fit for my 99 Ram. Simple install. Time will tell as to the quality. Price was great and the same brand my local parts store offered at more than 50% less $$

Working great. No issues with installing. No issues since installing.

Fit my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L. I won't get in to what all it took to get the old sensor out but a lot of cussing was involved. But with the new one in the Jeep is running smoother and I'm getting a few extra MPG

Cette sonde n'est pas un remplacement pour upstream front(bank 1 sensor 1) tel qu'ndiqué pour un Jeep TJ 2000. J'avais ouvert le sac, alors je l'ai gardée car elle semble correspondre plutôt à celle d'en arrière (downstream) mais pas testé encore.
