Met all my expectations
It never occurred to me a back-up camera would be available as a “third party” addition to a vehicle. I performed my usual due diligence including speaking with several vendor reps. I selected the Boyo VTL300CL license plate camera and the Boyo VTM4301 monitor. I had the local Ziebart dealer install them. Their technician told me it was a normal plug and play effort. The day and night views are great as is the detail displayed.

Do not buy this
This product cannot be installed by anyone. I would like to return it, but do not see an option. We brought this to a high end audio store for installation and were told that this item is not only bad, but will potentially ruin the radio and will corrode. We have one now that is installed and it is completely corroded, but thought something else happened to it. Apparently it is a product issue, not an owner issue. If there is anyway to return this item, please contact me.

This is my 2nd one, the last one, very similiar but not the same unit went bad due to moisture damage to the camera... lets see if this one survives more than one year from the last one2020 update: the one i purchased in 2017 has failed, this is my 3rd one and it this one fails,i am changing brands ...

Good camera
Chrome license plate frame with vertically adjustable camera, you have the option to turn on/off parking lines, also it has LED lights that will turn on when car is placed in reverse. I have different camera's from Boyo and never really had any problems with them.

The plastic lens cover on one of the LED lights ...
The plastic lens cover on one of the LED lights pooped off in the car wash. The lens/camera filled up with water, I would add a dab of silicone on the light lenses.

Would not recommend!
This product does not last I have has it about two months and the LED lights and grid lines stopped working. Would not recommend!
