Incra TTRACKPLUS24 24-Inch T-Track Plus, Imperial Scale

It looks like they want me to review several INCRA jig products that I recently purchased. They are all great! You can shop-make all of the things that you can build with the INCRA system for less $$. However, they are very convenient, accurate and well-designed. The "5-cut Cross Cut Sled", for example, is a great way to go, but INCRA makes it so simple. I have made a cross cut sled, squaring sled, box joint sled and a couple other things with INCRA stuff. This purchase was to add to the Basic Kit that you have to start with. My only "complaint" is that when you make a jig with this, it is pretty much permanent. In other words, you don't make one just for one job and then take it apart and use it for something different the next time. Guess that's just like any other jig you make for shop use.

If you want to make some precision, reusable, and reliable templates, guides, and stops.... well, you will love these. I have alredy used numerous items from Incra and have not been disappointed with any of them. The material extrusion and alodizing is about as good as anything can ever get. The perciseness of the build is one you will be proud of or glad that you chose this product to use. I bought these tracks to use in large drillpress table I am making to do precise hole centers and repeated exact spotting. I also used the other Incra bolts, L-brackets, and hand nuts as well. I am sure that you will NOT be disappointed..... and if you were, how can you ever lose out with Amazon's fantastic guarantee of care and service?? Enjoy!

Totally straight, accurate, well known Incra quality. I used this for my new miter saw fence. I cut a dado that this t-track slides right into. Excellent fit and I'll be able to quickly make perfect size cuts because of the scale.

I have a lot of different Incra fences and tracks, and just about without exception they are very nicely machined. I would say my only frustration is there is no universal T-track out there, and what fits one manufacturers track does not fit the other. Every manufacturer once you to buy their brand of attachments. The most universal ones that I have found are the Rockler brand. If you buy the entire Incra system, these work really well. That is to say Incra fence, Incra stop, Incra T-nuts, and Incra scales. I've used other brands of T-nuts, but usually end up having to file them slightly to fit. Standard quarter inch hex head bolts do seem to work well, but can bind. I like the elongated toilet bowl style bolts, as they slide better, but again these generally do not fit these tracks without modification. Incra sells a elongated nut, but if the bolt is not just the right length, then it bottoms out in the track before it gets tight. Again proprietary system. So, as long as you understand the limitations, these are very nice tracks.

I received the t track today and the scale is in two pieces. One piece is 0 to 17" and the second piece is from 16 to 34. I guess I'm supposed to overlap the two pieces. I was wanting to be able to adjust the scale zeroing it in but you can't move the scale with it overlapped. This is not the way to do it. The t track itself is fine and it appears I can replace the scale with 1/2 wide tape but I think I'll just send it back.

A great product at a good price. The fastening mechanism is superbly designed and makes adjusting it very easy. The four foot section was enough to provide two full depth tracks on the 24" x 36" drill press table. An awesome way to fasten hold downs and jigs for error free drilling.

Tape measure should be available in both right left and left right read. Also, 36 inch is far too short to use with a miter station. Should have longer version available as add on.
