Should have done this years ago!
Ordered this after our 3rd Brita canister cracked. Install was easy enough that a bacon salesman (me) could be the install tech. Small, compact, and very solidly built system that now gives us great filtered water without the hassle of cracked canisters and refilling every day or so. Turn the tap and drink the water. The filters are easy to access and replace. Love it!

Great value, but slow flow rate, which is expected.
Great taste, but the flow rate is pretty slow like they say. Great value for the money though and installation was a breeze (I've installed plenty of these before).

Product works just as expected. Flow rate is good. Installation was fairly simple other than reaching behind the sink to install the filter faucet. I experienced no leaks but I did use plumbers tape on all the connections. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Makes my water taste so much better but I have to say its not Poland Spring.

Absolute trash and company will not help
This was easy to hook up but runs extremely slow. It claims it runs at about 0.5 gallon per minute, but I'm timing this at 3.5min to fill half a gallon. UPDATE-I temporarily bypassed the filters and found that the faucet flow increased significantly. I contacted the company, but they said they could only help with issues related to the equipment itself, not the filters. I explained that the unit ran slow from day one and was less than two months old. I was told the main office would call me back, but I never received a call. I threw this unit away and purchased a two stage Waterdrop filter system. The new system fills my water bottle in just 37 seconds, compared to the 3.5 minutes it took with the AO Smith unit.

Easy to install and efficient
These filters are great! I just installed my second one. There was nothing wrong with the first one, bit the plumbing has to be replaced after 5 years. Mine was pushing 6 years and I didn't want to risk broken lines. Installing it is really easy and takes about an hour depending on space and if you have basic plumbing skills. Filter replacement takes 5 minutes.

I wish I hadnโt waited so long to make the change from spring water delivery to this filter.
After more than twenty years of having 5 gallon bottles of spring water delivered, the water started to have a strange taste/odor, so I canceled my delivery service and started looking for alternatives and the New York Times Wirecutter review recommended this one for removal of chlorine, plastics, and metals at a low price. Installation was straightforward (although I wish the lettered parts were included in the numbered diagram) and immediately after the recommended 10 minute flush out period my tap water, which is not horrible but has a chlorine taste, tasted great. I plan to fill a 3 gallon glass water cooler bottle with this filtered water to use with my existing cooler so I always have cold and hot water available as usual. My yearly cost for drinking water will be reduced by about 70% once I factor in the cost of replacing the filters every six months. Highly recommend!
