I used them to teach electricity to the kids and they worked great for my purpose.

These bulb holders were great for a small project I was working on. They were good quality and reasonably priced.

Next time I’ll spend more for better quality.

These work as advertised and have nice visible connections. I used mine to make a "battery killer" for my old LiPo batteries so I can safely dispose of them.

Another reviewer complained about the bolts stripping out. These bolts are not held on by nuts. They just go through a bit of sheet metal and it is not enough. I have taken to tightening them as much as they will without stripping and then hot gluing the bottom and top so that the bolts wont spin and the wire won't slip out. I don't know how to tell how other similar products are put together, because they all basically look the same, but this product is not satisfactory.

These are ok for the money spent. They work fine once you screw the bulb in, but don't bother trying to unscrew the bulb. As soon as the bulb dies and you have to unscrew it, the whole thing comes apart. The bulb doesn't unscrew from the socket, the whole socket unscrews from the base! A huge hassle to try to reassemble with a new bulb. Other than that they initially work great.

I found the bulbs I used were loose when threaded into the socket, I’m not exactly sure if the bulb thread was under sized or the socket was oversized, I was able to use a different socket with the same bulb and it worked okay
