Great fit and the logo pops! Necessity for off-roading.
Fit perfectly on the G310GS and the logo pops. Very durable and a must have if you plan to do any off-road riding. The original is plastic and needs to be replaced.

Easy install of Skid Plate
SKID PLATE: Very easy to install. Holes were perfect for 2019 310 gs. Looks good.LOWER GUARD: big spacer goes on shifter side I think. Got it put together and didn’t need to bend or cut. Think it was missing 1 washer. Had one extra bolt. Thinking maybe an older year used a different bolt size? Seems really sturdy. 4 stars. Read the Hepco instructions.

Easy Oil Change, Unlike Some More Expensive Skid Plates
I wish the aluminum was slightly thicker, but this is a major improvement over the plastic engine guard provided by BMW, which is better than nothing but is mostly for looks. Some installation instructions would have been nice. I installed the thin aluminum spacers (thick washers) under the heads of the four machine screws, but I think they probably were intended to go between the bash plate and the engine. At the next oil change, I'll swap them and if that works better, I'll use RTV silicone to attach the thin spacers to the inside of the bash plate to make it easier to reinstall after future oil changes. The screw heads and thin spacers seem a bit goofy hanging down under the bash plate. The spacers should have been attached to the skid plate if they are intended to be on the inside, which they probably are.One thing I like about this skid plate is the simplicity. Remove the four screws with a hex key to remove the skid plate when changing oil. One of the expensive after market skid plates attaches to the frame, which is good because it doesn't transfer impacts to the engine, but removing it and reinstalling it adds a couple of hours to a 15 minute oil change. For the relatively minor slow speed impacts I'm likely to have off road, I prefer the direct attachment to the engine that allows quick oil changes.Watch to ensure there are no bits of large gravel or small rocks trapped between the skid plate and oil filter. Vibration can hammer a small rock into the oil filter and cause an oil leak, which could be all sorts of unpleasantness in a remote area.
