How do I make crystal-clear ice cubes at home?

It’s simple! Use hot tap water, fill the mold slowly, and tap to release air bubbles. Freeze for 18–24 hours for the best clarity. Want even better results? Run a straw along the edges to remove trapped air—your cocktails will look and taste great.

How big are the True Cubes ice cubes and the mold?

The mold itself is 7" x 7" x 6"—about the size of a 1.5-quart ice cream carton. Each cube is 2” x 2” x 2”, the perfect size for whiskey, cocktails, or any drink that deserves slow-melting, bar-quality ice.

What is our patented process to make clear ice?

True Cubes mimic nature’s freezing process, pushing out air and impurities. This top-down freezing method removes 98% of dissolved solids (TDS) from tap water, creating ultra-clear, slow-melting ice that chills drinks without watering them down.

Do I need to use distilled or filtered water?

Nope! Regular tap water works great. True Cubes naturally filter out impurities as it freezes. If your tap water has a strong taste, try filtered water for extra purity—no need to boil or buy anything special. Just fill, freeze, and enjoy.
