I rarely leave reviews, but this neck stretcher has been one of the most helpful purchases I've made. I've suffered from headaches and migraines for years, and a lot of my pain seems to start in my neck and travel into my temple and behind my eye. I was skeptical at first, but after using this for just 10–15 minutes, I noticed a significant decrease in my head and neck pain. The design is comfortable, easy to use, and provides a gentle stretch without feeling too aggressive. I was hesitant to buy based on some reviews that said that it hurt her neck. I also thought it could be just another stupid thing I don't end up using. However, I found that it does help my neck. I am a petite woman and the device still works, just don't rest on it longer than 5 minutes.

At first I'll admit, I was skeptical. But I was also desperate, so I gave it a shot. And so I began using it, following the instructions carefully. Initially I found it horrible - laying on it was uncomfortable, and sitting up was disorienting. I'd immediately get dizzy, and although the muscles in my neck would feel more relaxed, it would take me a few minutes to regain my bearings. However, after continued (if apprehensive) use for about a week, the dizziness stopped and my neck continued to feel better and better. I've even felt my neck "click" while I'm laying on this thing. It's sturdy and easy to use, and has become part of my nightly routine!

I purchased this device about two months ago to correct my posture, which was contributing to problems with my shoulder. Initially I found it very helpful. It was comfortable to use and I noticed improvement in my posture. However, about a month ago I stayed on it for a longer period of time, probably around 10-15". Since then I have been experiencing an increasing level of vertigo, to the point where I cannot walk without holding onto something or someone. After contacting a family member who is a chiropractor, I learned that this is due to a shift in the crystals in the ear canal and is correctable by using the "Epley maneuver." Hopefully that is the case. She also said that this device should only be used by someone who is receiving regular chiropractic adjustments. FOLLOW UP: I posted the above review on 9/4/23. The following day I was contacted by the seller apologizing for the difficulty I experienced and offering me a full refund. I was quite impressed by the professionalism of the seller in reaching out to me and offering a refund, which I had not even requested. However, I chose not to accept the offer because my problem occurred as the result of not using the product correctly per the instructions. My husband assisted me in performing the Epley Maneuver (we watched a YouTube video) and my vertigo rapidly improved. Once I resume chiropractic treament, I plan to beginning using this product again according to the recommended guidelines, as I was truly beginning to see benefits.

I bought this for myself as I've had some shoulder and neck issues for some years due to an injury. In the first use I noticed the tension decrease and has helped my neck and shoulders to relax. My husband started using it without my knowledge. He uses it daily as recommended and loves it so much. He had me order one as a gift for his elderly father's 95th birthday. Now his siblings and nephews are ordering their own after using grandpa's. He should be the one writing this review, because he has another gift ready for his next lunch visit with one of his friends that has a stressful career and the tension that comes along.

BE PATIENT - IT’S WORTH IT! WORKS!!! I absolutely LOVE this thing. I have cervical bone spurs, and cervical disc bulge at C3-C4, pressing on nerves that run down to my right hand, and incredibly tight neck muscles and traps. During the pandemic lockdown my pain and numbness was the worst. I was working a stressful job and getting little sleep. My right arm was weaker than the left, and my right hand would be numb for 30 minutes after waking up each morning. I was scared. The MRI showed the physical issues above; the doctor recommended a steroid shot and said I may need surgery one day. I put off the steroid shot, figuring I should try physical therapy first. I also completed my contract, got a less stressful job, and started sleeping more. I tried stretched but they were painful, and sometimes seem to make things worse. I don’t think I was doing them right. But when I started using this device, I couldn’t BELIEVE how effective it was. Every time I use this regularly, it’s like I’m buying myself days or weeks of pain relief. AND extra mobility— I can twist to look behind when backing up my car without stabbing pain now. IMPORTANT TIP: when I first got it, it hurt a lot to relax my neck in that position. My neck was so tight it felt like it was made of hot piano wires that were about to explode. No joke. So I would only stretch on the floor with it for 30 seconds, twice a day. Then I gradually increased to a minute, once or twice a day. Another review here helped - it suggested to breathe slow and deep, gentling letting go, let gravity do the work, as you are able to tolerate it. Eventually I would put headphones in, choose one relaxing song that was about three minutes long, and use that as my timer. I’ve been using it for about 6 months now, and my necks so much better that I only need it 1-2x per week now, for about 3 minutes. I’m almost convinced that all I needed was gentle, gradual, decompression, not surgery and steroid shots. Anyway, time will tell. For now, I’m sticking to this routine, and recommend it to anyone with neck and upper back pain. Thank you for making this stretcher!!

Well I’ve been using it quite a bit now I have less neck pain but my shoulders still hurts But my neck used to be a 10 with pain now no pain since I’m using this miracle piece I recommend it

I gave this a go as I had been struggling with neck and upper back pain. At first it feels very large on the back of your neck but stick with it, once you fully relax your head, neck and shoulders it feels so good. Too good in fact. The instructions state that it should be used for around 10-15 minutes then removed, but honestly I almost fell asleep. I found it more comfortable than my pillow. I would sleep on this but the warnings say not to. Regardless, it's great for stretching out your neck and provides much needed relief.
