Great mat
I bought this because it was Amazon’s Choice mainly and because it is similar to the Cloudbase mat I was going to buy from a different retailer at twice this price. I have sent the other one back because they are virtually the same in every way but much better value. I’m 5ft 10” and it’s a good fit for me with a little room still left at the bottom of the bed. There is a pillow attached to the top so there’s no need on taking an extra one which makes my pack lighter. The air is evenly distributed throughout the mat and it is very comfortable to sit on as well as lie on, especially when my sleeping bag is laid on top and my foil mat underneath. I do a lot of wild camping so this is great to carry around with it only being half a kilo in weight. It has a small pack down size too so it doesn’t take much room in your rucksack. If it lasts the tests of time I’ll definitely buy another for my camping partners. Highly recommend. Hopefully the review has helped you a little, can you please show some love with a helpful vote if it has?

A great budget pad
I used to use a closed-cell pad, then bought a self-inflating pad which seemed luxurious by comparison. Unfortunately, it was bulky and fairly heavy. A friend had one of these and I was impressed so I bought one too. It's even better than I expected, comfortable, warm (no R rating is specified but it's much better than my self-inflator) and half the weight. It folds/rolls down to a compact size too. I tend to use my sleeping bag as a quilt so I sleep directly on the mat surface and there was no annoying rubbery feeling or squeaky noises when I moved and it didn't feel cold on my skin. The only niggle is its stuff-sack only just fits so you really need to get all the air out when rolling it up. After using it 4 or 5 times now I seem to be getting the knack and it packed away easily this last time. The pillow is a nice-to-have but you can just tuck it underneath(uninflated) if you prefer to use your own. Inflating the mat takes quite a few big breaths but there is a one-way valve to ensure none of that air gets back out again. I did buy a cheap micro air-pump which helps but you still need to finish it off by mouth if you like a firm mattress. Overall this has been a great pad which I've now used on a variety of surfaces from flat grass to rocky heather, tussocky bog and pine-cone laden forest floor. The mat has smoothed it all ensuring a good nights sleep. EDIT: I’ve been using this for 3 years now and spend over 20 nights on it. It still works as good as new, I’ve never been cold and my only two issues are that the pillow could be half as thick again and that the surface is a bit slippery so it moves around on the tent floor. I might try smearing some builders silicone on one side to see if that helps…. But overall a great buy.

Good, comfortable and lightweight.
Reading other reviews they have obviously changed the design as there is no longer a built in pump to annoy those who complained of it affecting the pillow comfort. Inflsting by mouth is still very easy and quick - less than 2 minutes for both pillow and body. I like the built in pillow (I read another review complaining of this). I dont inflate the pillow fully (as I don't with other inflatable pillows I've had) as its more comfortable and less hard if not fully blown up, and this allows to set slightly different pillow heights as required. Not had any problems as yet with deflation over night. The size is better than my expensive lightweight branded mattress, as just as, if not more so, comfortable and definitely quieter material. Also, less than a fifth of the price. It is 150g heavier, but for the slightly bigger size and included pillow I think its a compromise worth taking. Im 5' 11" and 13 stone and dont feel any ground contact and have been very comfortable. Use for ightweight (maybe not ultra lightweight) camping and its so far a great product for the price.

Not self inflating!
This is not a self inflating mat despite what the instructions say. You have to blow it up and whilst it's not difficult, is not what it is marketed as. I have not used it yet but it's easy to blow up. A bit tricky to get back into the bag if you're in a hurry though

Very thin/ compact/ perfect for teens sleepovers!
This is an amazing product ! Great value for money. So compact packs away into a small pouch ( can be a bit fiddly, to pack up again but make sure stoppers are out before folding !) Complete with head reast/ pillow to blow up separately. And the best part, we found was just a few breaths and it's sorted ! ( * again make sure main stopper in, as this is one way valve.) Basic comfort - honeycomb pattern helps cushion body. As long as stopper pushed in correctly mat stayed inflated all night. So light, easy and ideal for teen sleepovers ! Brilliant!

Poor quality and prone to punctures
On first impressions, this mat was great and just what I needed - lightweight, easy to inflate, comfortable. Unfortunately after a week of use (daily packing away and reinflating, being very careful to not bring it into contact with any surfaces which might damage it) it developed a hole and went down during the night. There was a puncture repair kit provided but it’s very difficult to locate holes unless you can submerge fully under water to observe where air bubbles escape. This was tricky and time consuming while away on a camping trip. The puncture repair patch only held for a few nights and had to be replaced, meanwhile another hole emerged a few days later. Unfortunately this mat is not fit for purpose and definitely not designed to last. The storage bag also disintegrated after a few days of use (the stitching is very poor quality). My partner bought a similar mat of a different brand and had no problems. I’d advise spending a little more if you want a a series of comfortable nights sleep when camping

So much better than a roll mat
These sleeping mats are amazing and so comfortable. They blow up in about 8 breaths and are the best think I’ve ever slept on whilst camping. You have to buy 2 and bolt them together!

Comfy camping mattress
I am writing this review after using this mattress for a few days whilst camping in the Lake District. It was a fantastic mattress and so glad i purchased it. It's a nice size and i would say weighs just under 2kgs. It was fairly easy to blow up, just a couple of minutes puffing it up and it was there. It remained comfy each night and i only had to blow it up again occasionally. It's a bit fiddly folding it up and putting it back in it's pack, but i got there eventually. For the price i would say a really good mattress and worth getting. It just does enough to keep you off the ground, hence comfy and a bit warmer than the cold hard earth !
