I bought it when my rear dash cam vacuum mount started falling off this winter. I considered few other vacuum mounts but then decided to go with this 3M fixed mount to avoid vacuum tension. And after couple of months, I'm very happy with this purchase. It withheld the extreme winter this year in Midwest, -50F. It holding it's ground like day 1. I recommend buying it over suction cup mounts, if you don't need to change the place often, specially if you live in extreme cold or warm areas

This mount works perfectly to replace the suction cup window-type mount if yours breaks or gets damaged by the sun. I used this mount to hold my dash cam onto the actual dashboard instead of the window, allowing me to slip a windshield screen on the window when my car is parked without having to remove my dash cam from the window every time, and not having to fear sun damage. The mount works great and holds onto the dashboard much stronger than I expected.

Very poor packaging. One edged of the mounting flap was broken off in shipping. Was still able to use it, not worth the effort to return it.

As advertised, very sticky and seems to hold well. Does not fit the G1W cameras out of the box, however if you have a grinder or a file you can easily modify it to fit in about 2 minutes. (need to shorten the hook about 3mm as it is too long to recess into the G1W) Following the modification results in a nice tight fit.

I had a suction cup mount that kept falling off the windshield no matter how many times I cleaned everything and re-set it. I saw this stick-on version of a mount and it works great. It exactly fit my dash cam and the camera has not moved since I installed it. Excellent!

The part that goes into the camera is way too large to fit apeman dashcams. This is the 3rd camera mount that i have tried that claims they fit apeman. They are all too big. Maybe there is 2 sizes of apeman camera mount but this certainly doesn't fit mine.

Bought this for my Drivepro 550 works great. However it has a limited angle of tilt suited to modern cars with windshields that slope greatly, an older car with a more vertical windshield will be a problem.

As I mentioned in the headline this mount fits the YI 2.7" dash cam perfectly. I personally use the smaller one and it's easier to just slide the dashcam off instead of the clasp on the larger attachment. The adhesive is 3m so it's not going anywhere once you put it on your windshield. All in all, I'd definitely purchase this again if I needed to replace my windshield. Gotta love when you can't get the YI dashcam attachment off of the old windshield...

Holds well

Used this to install a my G1C dashcam when I traded in my Minivan for a car. Was a way better solution then using the suction cup mount. Would buy again.

Works perfectly with my Navman dash cam, which came with a suction cup that wouldn’t stay put. Really pleased with this alternative.

Very good adhesive. Clear on the outer windshield. It hasn't shifted or peeled in winter. Will see for summer. Plastic is cheap but I don't remove the dash cam as often so it should last.
